I have trained executives in many countries in a variety of innovation and
lateral thinking topics.  The courses can be given virtually and split into

HELP WITH A TOUGH PROBLEM

Are you facing serious challenges in leading your business?  Do you need to find
new revenue sources, reduce overheads, develop innovative products and
services?  Are your people equipped and motivated to solve these problems? 
These are the sorts of issues I have been helping leaders with for the past ten
years.   I have helped senior executives at 26 blue chip companies where we used
advanced lateral thinking techniques to conceive and implement fresh and
effective solutions to urgent problems.

At the heart of what I do is a simple idea.  You and your team can generate and
implement creative practical ideas by using lateral thinking techniques.

I take you (and usually your senior team) through a six-stage process.

 1. We identify the most serious issue and find the root causes.  I have five
    proven problem analysis tools.
 2. We generate a large number of creative ideas using one or more of 11 lateral
    thinking methods.
 3. We select the winning idea or ideas using highly effective evaluation
    techniques.
 4. We develop a plan to implement the best proposal.
 5. We move to rapid testing in the real world – often with a minimum viable
    product.
 6. We implement the plan and review progress.



At Novartis in Sweden the challenge was to find new and smarter ways to do
things.  I facilitated a two day workshop with fifty talented executives and we
selected five great ideas which were implemented including one which
significantly improved how clinical trials were run.    Peter Hovstadius, Head
of Innovation at Novartis Nordics said,’ Paul moderated an Innovation workshop
in Sweden with participants from all Nordics. I am very impressed by Paul’s
ability to increase collaboration and understanding of what it takes to be truly
innovative today. Also we generated well over 300 new ideas addressing business
critical issues. If you are looking for a true performer in driving innovation
workshops/processes – this is you man!’

For the EU Commission the challenge was to generate and select ideas for smaller
territories to boost growth and business.  I gave talks and ran workshops which
resulted in real actions in the countries.  Milan Jezic von Gesseneck. Team

the Key speakers at our OCTA Innovation International conference held at the
