AUTOMATICALLY SIGN OUT OF OUTLOOK.COM

… or stop automatically signing in to Outlook.com.

If you don't want to stay signed in when you close the browser, don't save
cookies.

If you use Edge or Chrome, the cookie settings are at
edge://settings/content/cookies
chrome://settings/cookies

Add [*.]live.com to the Clear on exit option (called Always clear cookies when
windows are closed in Chrome). You can choose to clear all cookies, but this
will sign you out of sites you might want to stay signed into.



If you are signing out because you have multiple Outlook.com accounts and want
to sign into the other account, use different browser, a private browser
windows, or browser profiles instead. This will allow you to keep your accounts
open in separate windows.
