   MONDAY KEYNOTE

Frank Luntz is one of the most honored communication professionals in America
today. “The Nostradamus of pollsters,” said Sir David Frost, while Time
magazine named him one of “50 of America’s most promising leaders aged 40 and
under,” and Newsweek magazine identified him as No. 24 on their American
Power Elite survey. He finished 87th in a Time magazine global poll of the
“most influential people in the world.” Frank was named one of the four “Top
Research Minds” by Business Week, “the hottest pollster” by The Boston Globe,
“pollster extraordinaire” by the BBC, and was a winner of The Washington
Post’s coveted “Crystal Ball” award for being the most accurate pundit, and
“the person you turn to for the truth” by Bloomberg News. His focus groups
have become so influential that Barack Obama had this to say following the
PBS presidential debate: “When Frank Luntz invites you to talk to his focus
group, you talk to his focus group.”

General Session 1: Have We Reached the Freight Inflection?

US trucking stands at a critical juncture where numerous significant
happenings will converge over the next year. For example, the global
destocking period appears to be over after 18 months of inventory overstock,
but how will that impact a changing global supply chain cycle? The global
operating environment remains uncertain, and distribution channel disruptions
are still commonplace; how might that change for better or worse over the
next 18 months? Sourcing diversification is also changing US distribution
patterns, could that change freight flows and mode choices? And with the
third manufacturing revolution underway, how will that impact LTL in the
coming years? Join Armada Corporate Intelligence’’s Keith Prather as we
   address these questions and more.

In recent years LTL carriers have grown even smarter, pricing their services

yields were up proving that LTL is one of the more well-managed niches in a
$400 billion dollar trucking industry. So, what’s next? From warehousing to
integrated logistics centers, top LTL carriers are boldly diversifying. This
