The U.S. Embassy in Ankara will begin operations at its new location,1480 Sokak
No. 1 Çukurambar Mahallesi 06530 Çankaya, Ankara begining August 29, 2022. 


SECRETARY BLINKEN’S CALL WITH TURKISH FOREIGN MINISTER CAVUSOGLU

Secretary Blinken commended the Turkish diplomatic efforts that led to the first
shipment of Ukrainian grain leaving the Black Sea since the start of Russia’s
full-scale invasion of Ukraine.


STATEMENT BY SECRETARY ANTONY J. BLINKEN ON FIRST GRAIN SHIP DEPARTING THE BLACK
SEA

We again commend the United Nations and Turkey for mediating the diplomacy that
resulted in today’s significant step, which raises hope of bringing the millions
of tons of grain stuck at Ukraine’s ports to those facing food insecurity around
the world.
