ANEMONA HOTEL SIDARI

Apartment was basic but nothing to complain about, we had everything we needed
(especially because we payed next to nothing) was spacious, had a balcony, air
con and was cleaned every day. George and Effie at Anemona were lovely and
helpful and only charged us for one day of air con. The hotel was really close
to megali beach, itself only a short walk along to the main beach which was
lovely - the photos don't do it justice. We stayed the 1st week of July (group
of 5 18 y/o girls) and this holiday was exactly what we were looking for. So be
prepared to wake up early and join in the fun. Putting your towel on a sun
lounger at 6am assuming then that you have god given right to that sun lounger
for the day is pathetic. Why Why Why can't it be first come first served. So all
good so far - The real issue we had and has put me off returning is the dreaded
sun lounger towel scenario. The bar area is very good with plenty of seats and
the service was excellent although I think George could do with a hand at times
as he never seemed to stop but always with a smile. The pool area is very good
with (plenty) sun loungers and the pool is inviting albeit could be cleaned more
regularly as it was slightly gritty under foot at times but the water was clear.
Don't expect 5 star accommodation as they are well used and bathrooms were
typically smelly and damp with dodgy plumbing and shower accessories and I
wouldn't recommend trying to cook anything as the small kitchenette is basic but
functional to make a cup of tea. The staff are very friendly and the apartments
are fairly spacious and are cleaned regularly. They are tucked away out of sight
so very quiet but 5 min walk and you have the beach and as many restaurants and
shops as you need.

I would thoroughly recommend these apartments.
