magnetic compass, timekeepers and sextants. The site offers a comprehensive
collection of navigational instruments, sea atlases, and charts, highlighting
how navigational techniques developed over the centuries. Visitors gain insights

HOW TO NAVIGATE OUR COLLECTION.



The full collection of NavigArte consists of several different types of objects
such as maps, instruments and books. These were used throughout time from the
early Greek-Roman period till the 19th Century. All items have their place in
history and contributed to the modern sea navigation we know today. 



It is possible to browse through the collection by either the type of object or
the era in which it was used.
