CONSULTATION SERVICES FOR THE CREATION OF NEW BIOBANKS & BIOBANK NETWORKS, AND
OPERATING IMPROVEMENTS TO EXISTING BIOBANKS & BIOBANK NETWORKS.

BIOBANK SUSTAINABILITY

DO YOU WORRY ABOUT THE SUSTAINABILITY OF YOUR BIOBANK?

In a recent survey of 51% of your peers, a major to moderate concern was the
financial sustainability of their biobanks. Based on my own experience, and the
findings of my research, I can consult with you about how your biobank can
become and stay sustainable.

Biobanks, also called repositories, are long-term research infrastructures.
Sustainability, therefore, is
one of the most important challenges for a biobank. There are three dimensions
of sustainability: social, operational and financial.

BIOBANK BUSINESS PLANNING

I CAN SUPPORT YOU IN DRAFTING YOUR FIRST BUSINESS PLAN OR HELP YOU TO UPDATE
YOUR EXISTING PLAN.

A sound business plan is a prerequisite for the success of your biobanking
activity and is a key component of its sustainability. Your business plan is a
living document that should be periodically updated as standards and practices
evolve.
