By drilling horizontally underground, utility and communication lines can be laid in less time and with a smaller footprint than traditional methods. DIRECTIONAL BORING Efficient. Reliable. Exceptional Service. To install pipes, conduits, and cables that travel parallel to the surface of the ground, directional drilling may be used to minimize soil and other environmental disturbances as well as avoid existing structures and commercial activities. Once the bore path is carefully mapped, the drill bit can be navigated and steered to avoid any obstructions, such as other underground utilities. Contact UNDERGROUND UTILITIES Customized to Your Preferences When laying lines in urban or suburban areas, digging a trench for utility lines isn’t always doable—or desirable. With horizontal drilling, though, the surface impact is kept to a minimum. Water, sewer and electrical lines can easily be installed without disturbing what’s already established above ground.
