Clearfield County AAA, Inc. is passionate about people and helping them maintain
independence. Our “Meals on Wheels and More” program supports seniors in their
own homes, where they want to be, be we can’t do it without you!

We need substitute drivers to deliver nutritious meals to homebound seniors. In
addition to a flexible dress code and agency-provided personal protective
equipment for a safe work environment, you’ll get the satisfaction of helping
others in need. Substitute drivers work under 14 hours per week, generally on an
“as-needed basis” when our regular route drivers are off. Weekday schedule using
agency mini-vans, which load and unload at our site in Curwensville.

We are looking for honest, reliable people who are customer-service oriented and
can manage time well. You must be willing and able to drive in all weather
conditions, go up and down stairs, lift 30 pounds, follow directions, do simple
math, and use a cell phone. Persons offered a position will be required to pass
a physical, drug test, motor vehicle check and criminal history check (all paid
by agency).

full-time position investigates reports of elderly individuals who may be
neglected, abused, and/or financially exploited; conducts comprehensive

Primary Monday-Friday day-shift work schedule with occasional after hours as
part of an “on-call” rotation schedule. Full benefits package. Salary negotiable
based on experience.

Candidates must be detail oriented and possess excellent communication and
reasoning skills, strong documentation skills, and good computer skills.
Individuals with an empathetic approach and strong persuasive abilities can
excel in this full-time position.

Educational requirements: a Bachelor’s Degree with a social welfare major; OR a
Bachelor’s Degree which includes or is supplement by 12 credits of college level
courses in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, or other related
social sciences and 1 year experience in public or private human services
setting; OR at the sole discretion of the agency, any equivalent combination of
experience and training including successful completion of 12 credits in
sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, or other related social
