PROBLEM NOTE 66106: THE CAS SAVE ACTION FAILS WHEN YOU USE THE ORACLE DATA
CONNECTOR TO SAVE A TABLE THAT CONTAINS AN ALL NULL COLUMN

In SAS® Visual Investigator, the Scenario Administrator uses the SAS® Cloud
Analytic Services (CAS) Save action for two of its features: the event store and
external replication.

When you save an aggregation table that contains an all null column by using the
Oracle Data Connector, you might receive the following error message:

General error ORA-00910: specified length too long for its datatype.

This error occurs when the Oracle database system parameter of MAX_STRING_SIZE
is set to STANDARD.

The workaround is to set the MAX_STRING_SIZE system parameter to EXTENDED.

A hot fix is planned for this issue.

is the software release in which the problem is planned to be fixed.
