About CyberCell VIIT:

(Cyber Security Club of Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, Pune,
India) is a tightly knit enthusiastic group of students amazing to build up a
community that focuses on studying, learning, and spreading awareness about
Cyber Security by working collaboratively.

About VishwaCTF'24:

It is jeopardy style CTF event which is organized  for 48 hours. CTF (Capture
The Flag) is a kind of information security competition that challenges
contestants to solve a variety of tasks ranging from a scavenger hunt on
Wikipedia to basic programming exercises, to hacking your way into a server to
steal data. In these challenges, the contestant is usually asked to find a
specific piece of text that may be hidden on the server or behind a webpage.
This goal is called the flag, hence the name!

Teams and individuals from around the globe participate and try to enhance their
cybersecurity skills.

Guidelines:

 * The team size is from 1-4 members
 * The event duration will be 48 hours.
 * The event will be online.

Rules:

 1. The flag format is VishwaCTF{}, unless specified otherwise.
 2. Attacking the web server is strictly prohibited and will result in
    disqualification.
 3. Brute forcing flags on this platform is not allowed and will not lead to
    success.
 4. Any questions regarding challenges or the platform should be asked only via
    our Discord server.
 5. You can participate individually or in a team.
 6. There are no restrictions as to who can participate in the CTF.
 7. The problems will be from cryptography, web security, steganography, reverse
    engineering, binary exploits, forensics, etc
