IRELAND’S TOTAL ENERGY DEMAND INCREASED BY ALMOST 5% IN 2022

Ireland’s total energy demand increased by almost 5% in 2022. The increase was
primarily driven by rebound in transport activity post COVID. Energy related
emissions dropped 1.8% in the same period.
