2023 NPBA Fall 40 hour Man-Trailing & Certification Seminar hosted by Greenville
County (SC) Sh
DETAILS Greenville County (SC) October 21, 2023 - October 26, 2023 8 Hours of
Classroom and 32 Hours of Extensive Field Training. Certification is offered for
NPBA Member Attendees in ALL Classroom & Field Exercises. Minimum Requirements
for certifying hound must be a minimum of (10) months old and the handler must
have a minimum of 6 months of training records with the dog that they are
certifying with. Only 1 dog per Handler will be certified. Certification is
based on Instructers Evaluation. Rabies and Health Certificates MUST be
presented upon arrival NPBA Certification requires full attendance The 40-Hour
Main-Trailing Training & Certification Course qualifies for 4 Contract hours of
Continuing Education Units through the Garrett College (MD) Continuing Education
& Workforce Development Department, along with a Continuing Education and
Participation Certificate. Puppies 10 weeks or older are welcome to participate.
HOTEL 40 Rooms have been set aside at special rates - $126 Single/$127 Dbl.
Includes breakfast. Hotel Amenities Hot Breakfast & Complimentary Evening Drinks
and Snacks 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm & Complimentary WIFI Throughout the Hotel
Attendees must make their own room reservation directly with the: Drury Inns &
Suites by calling (864) 288-4401 Reference Group Booking I.D. # 5976 to ensure
the NPBA Special Rate. Reservations must be made prior to September 21, 2023.
Please note: to ensure a pet fee is not charged by the hotel, notify the hotel
that the bloodhound is a service animal. SEMINAR REGISTRATION Due to increased
costs, there has been an increase in the registration fee for NPBA Seminars. The
Registration Fee Standard has been revised to accommodate seminar instructor
planning by offering a discount for early payment. Online Early Bird
Registration fee of $550.00, before September 6th, 2023. Online payment after
September 6th will be $600.00. Payment made at the Seminar will be $675.00
Prepaid Registrations, should a cancellation occur 29 days prior to the seminar
(after Sept. 22, 2023), will be subject to a 25% penalty, which will be
