PHIL GILBERT STARTED THE HARDWOOD GIANT FROM SCRATCH, TWICE.

The Hardwood Giant Co. Founder: Phil Gilbert

He founded the hardwood flooring installation, sand and refinishing company
first in Kansas City and earned the respect of Kansas City homeowners. In 2007,
he said goodbye to all that, uprooting the business and planting it in
Charlotte, N.C.

Now, nearly a decade later, Gilbert has established his hardwood flooring
company firmly within the contact lists of Charlotte’s middle to high-end
residential clientele.

Phil and his crew did a beautiful job of sanding and restaining our floors. In
addition, we had a floor heat vent moved and the hole had to be repaired. They
did such a great job that you can’t tell where the hole was. We had the entire
downstairs done and it all looks brand new. They did the job while we were away.
We came home to a clean and beautiful home. They are trustworthy terrific guys
and I recommend them 100%.

We found The Hardwood Giant through an internet search. We read a few great
reviews and decided to contact them (Phil). Working with him was seamless. He
came to our home to provide an estimate for replacing carpeting in two bedrooms
with hardwood, and replacing tile in the laundry room with LVL. He turned around
an estimate the next day, and brought us samples for the LVL a couple of days
later. Phil was able to schedule the work a week later, and the floors came out
better than we could have hoped. Phil's team was able to match the existing
hardwood floor, in plank size and stain. The LVL also looks fantastic in our
laundry room. We highly recommend The Hardwood Giant!
