But meads and ciders are still compelling, and easy, and I use stainless kegs to bulk age them under CO2. I have recently scaled back to 3 gal batches and while I have way more 5 gal cornies than I will usually need, I like the little 3-gal ones. Over the years I have come by three used 3-gal cornies, and recently decided I wanted a 4th. First new keg I've ever owned. (And I have owned a lot of kegs.)
