Today we kick off Make a Mother’s Day to help more families overcome a crisis.

Danielle has long been determined to provide a good life for her only child,
Joshua. But despite working full-time, Danielle couldn’t make ends meet after
her divorce left her as her son’s sole provider. 

In neighborhoods across our region, mothers like Danielle are forced to make
hard decisions. One emergency upsets a delicate balance. 

It can be tough to ask for help. But you can ensure support is available to more
families when they turn to United Way’s Project Lift. 

Project Lift was created to help families in financial crisis. Once past their
crisis, moms like Danielle receive ongoing support to build and make progress on
their long-term goals.
