FPB AGREES TO HELP FUND HYDROELECTRIC PLANT REHABILITATION

After eight months of meeting via Zoom, the Frankfort Plant Board (FPB) met at a
special in-person meeting on Wednesday and approved a Southeastern Power
Administration (SEPA) agreement.


PERMANENT SOLUTION: CITY COMMISSION CONSIDERING DOLLY GRAHAM PARK RESTROOM
OPTIONS

With a new splash pad in the works and a renovated playground already in
operation, Frankfort Parks, Recreation and Historic Sites Director Shawn Pickens
presented options for new restroom facilities at Dolly Graham Park during last
week’s city commission work session.


FISCAL COURT HEARS FUEL RECOVERY RATE REQUEST FROM CENTRAL KENTUCKY HAULING

Central Kentucky Hauling, which has been in charge of trash and recycling
collection for Franklin County since 2015, requested a fuel recovery rate
increase due to the recent surge in diesel fuel prices.
