Parts 123 Supply Chain Management System is a complete online system that
controls material delivery to an assembly plant or warehouse. The system allows
a material planner to easily manage the distribution of parts coming in to the
assembly line to ensure reduced holding costs and reduce the possibility of
downtime. Viewing PO line items by exception makes it very easy to arrange the
flow of materials. Also, vendors can easily review planning and payments.


SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

 * The Supply Chain Management System has been designed to automate the
   interaction between the manufacturer and the supply vendors to insure timely
   communication of:
   * Vendor online commitments to meet quantity ordered and due date required.
   * Manufacturer notification to the vendor of Pending Items Not Accepted.
   * Manufacturer notification to the vendor of Pending Items Not Shipped (these
     display within a timing window defined by the manufacturer, i.e. items may
     display within 7 days of required ship date).
   * Manufacturer notification of purchase order changes in quantity, due date,
     and order cancellations.
   * Vendor Ship Notices sent to the manufacturer.
 * Vendors may print bar code shipping labels directly from this system.
 * Manufacturer’s may send Material Receipt notices directly to the vendor.
