As a young girl, I was instilled with a deep understanding of the importance of
caring for nature.

In school we were taught about animals that had helped humanity and how it was
important to always be caring and considerate with other living creatures.

Two such creatures come to my mind when I think back to those days all those
years ago in my small rural primary school. They were known as Pelorous Jack and
Opo.

Today I want to share their remarkable stories. New Zealand has a rich maritime
history, not only because of its human inhabitants but also due to its notable
marine life. Among the many creatures that have left a mark on the nation's
cultural heritage, these two dolphins stand out: They captured the hearts of New
Zealanders and visitors alike, becoming legendary figures in their own right.

TOO MUCH GOVERNMENT

Details Written by: David Leyonhjelm Published: 22 May 2024

Expectations of the role of the government have been rising steadily over the
last decade. They rose substantially during the eastern states’ bushfires in
late 2019 and early 2020, and again in response to the floods that followed in
NSW and Queensland. And they reached stratospheric levels during the Covid
panic.

Judged by the number of lives lost, those bushfires were far from the worst on
record. Nonetheless, they were characterised as ‘unprecedented’ and prompted a
chorus of demands for the Prime Minister to get involved. When it was discovered
he had gone to Hawaii for a holiday with his family, he was accused of being
negligent for leaving the country at such a time.

The Prime Minister did not leave the country when NSW and Queensland were hit by
floods, but the opprobrium he attracted could hardly have been worse if he did.
The floods were again described as unprecedented amid a chorus of claims the
government should have acted sooner and done more.

The Covid schemozzle was obviously unprecedented and nobody could go anywhere.
Once again, the Prime Minister and federal government were blamed – there were
insufficient vaccines, the border should have been closed sooner, hotel
quarantine was a failure, lockdowns were inadequate, plus a multitude of other
perceived failures. All this despite the worst harm being done by state
governments.

MONEY, MONEY MONEY MAKES THE WORLD GO GREEN

There just might be 74 million reasons environmental charities ignore eagles and
whales, and reject zero emission nuclear. Nick Cater points out one mysterious
charity, the Sunrise Project Australia had a “revenue” of $73.8 million* dollars
last year and we don’t know where that came from.

Let’s say you made a fortune from Big-Government subsidies and rigged market
rules — what would stop you from pouring some of those parasitic profits right
back into fake environmentalist groups to help “your favourite” politicians win?
It has the added bonus that when your wind turbines chop up eagles or deafen the
dolphins, no one says a word. The same sell-out environmental groups would … do
nothing at all. Mum’s the word! Which is exactly what Greenpeace and the WWF
seem to do — nothing.

Let’s just say hypothetically that you ran a company completely dependent on
politicians to create rigged market rules — like banning your main competitor
(Nuclear power). What would stop you funneling some of those profits into
environmental cover groups to whip up “grassroots” whinges into a fully mature
political campaign with digital databases and social media tracking?

And conveniently for them, as Nick Cater points out, the Australian Electoral
Commission doesn’t classify environmental charities as “political” even though
the Greens are a party. That means the chumpy tree-huggers who don’t mind
chopping down trees for some kinds of industries — don’t have to declare their
donors. How convenient?

WHITE ETHNICITIES ARE BEING REPLACED

What is happening in the US is happening everywhere in the Western world. As the
empire itself is rotten, so must be its constituent parts.

In the US white parents have to take their kids out of public schools, because
public schools are indoctrination centers where white kids are indoctrinated
that they, their parents, and their relatives are racist exploiters of “people
of color” and that they are born into the wrong body and need to be sterilized
in order to escape the wrong gender, thus further reducing the white birth rate.

In Jean Raspal’s The Camp of The Saints, white Europeans are prohibited from
marrying within their white ethnicity.

In America’s edition of The Camp of the Saints, white youth are simply
sterilized by sex change operations.

LORD OF THE FLIES: AN EXPLORATION OF HUMAN NATURE AND WHAT THE HELL DID WE

William Golding's "Lord of the Flies," first published in 1954, remains one of
the most significant works of literature of the 20th century. The novel, which
portrays a group of British boys ( a school choir ) stranded on a deserted
island, serves as a profound commentary on the inherent darkness of human nature
and the fragility of civilisation.

The story begins with a plane crash that leaves a group of boys aged six to
twelve marooned on an uninhabited island. Without adult supervision, they
attempt to govern themselves, initially with some semblance of order. Ralph, one
of the older boys, is elected leader and prioritises rescue by maintaining a
signal fire. Piggy, another central character, represents intellect and reason,
supporting Ralph's efforts with his practical advice.

THE FLIGHT OF THE NAVIGATOR - WHEN WE AS CHILDREN KNEW WE WERE THE CENTRE OF THE

What is it that makes us remember things from our past and, for some
inexplicable reason, they stick with us?

Some things are from distant memories of childhoods lived and recalled with
great fondness. Others talk about an incident from adulthood. In all cases, they
feature an event that has stayed with us as a “ keeper “ in the file cabinet
called our memory.

When people approach their end of useful life ( according to the young smart
arses that think that they will live forever, or perish due to climate change
before their 30th birthday ) it seems to be that our minds retreat to happier
times that our brains chose to save, while deleting so many thousands of days.

Why is that?

THE MEN BEHIND THE DAMBUSTERS - AN INCREDIBLE STORY

The 16/17th May marks this most famous raid of WW2, the destruction of the Ruhr
dams with the bouncing bomb. The story is so well known and has been told so
often I do not think I could do it any more justice than has already been
written so many times.

Instead, I propose to concentrate on the three leading characters of the story.
They are 617 Squadron, RAF, its squadron leader, Wing Commander Guy Gibson, VC.
and Barnes Wallis, the inventor of the bouncing bomb.

617 squadron, better known as The Dambusters Squadron, came into being on 21st
March, 1943 at Scampton in Lincolnshire, specifically at the direction of Air
Marshall “Bomber” Harris, Commanding Officer of Bomber Command. Harris
personally appointed Gibson to command it and gave him carte blanche in
selecting the personnel from any squadron in the RAF or attached Dominion air
forces. At the time of his appointment and for some time afterwards Gibson was
not allowed to be told the target, only that it was a very secret mission
requiring very low altitude flying against a critical target.

DON'T LIE TO ME UNLESS YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY SURE THAT I WILL NOT FIND THE TRUTH

Today's article is about Deception. Lies. Experimentation. Life. Death. Family.
Love. Hate and Betrayal.

It is about incompetence. Government. Loss. Restriction and Destruction. In
short, it is about the very things we are all confronting in this new global
reset that is hell bent of changing our world forever.

It all started when I watched a documentary about 3 boys. All adopted. One, to a
wealthy educated couple. Another to a middle class working couple. Another to a
more blue collar family. All three were loved and given every advantage within
their parent's power.

It transpired that they were triplets, separated at birth and sent out to be
tracked over their lives to see how they progressed. Would they grow up
differently from their siblings?  Yes, the kicker was, that unbeknown to them,
they had been part of an experiment. A vile, sinister and wicked experiment to
see how nature v nuture works.

I found it very disturbing. How could adoption agencies allow such a perverse
experiment in our era of so called enlightenment?

THINGS AREN'T WHAT THEY USED TO BE - BEFORE COMPUTERS CHANGED OUR LIVES

I remember the days before computers changed our lives. When I was a lad, I
first trained as a civil engineer in the late 1950s to early 1960s. There were
no electronic calculators, and all calculations were performed either manually,
by trigonometric tables, or by using a slide rule.

We used to analyse the stresses and bending moments in structural elements using
advanced mathematics based upon first principles, knowledge of which has long
faded from my aged brain.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge is a classic two-pinned arch design which we studied.
If you drive past both abutments, you will see the huge supporting pins which
take the entire load of the bridge.

PATRIOT REALM THE RUSSIAN NIGHT WITCHES: UNSUNG HEROES OF WORLD WAR II

Details Written by: Op-Ed Monty Published: 16 May 2024

As the war raged on the Eastern Front, the Soviet Union was in dire need of
pilots to combat the relentless advance of the German forces. In response,
Marina Raskova, herself a pioneering aviator, proposed the formation of female
combat air regiments. Thus, in October 1941, the 588th Night Bomber Regiment was
born, later to be known as the "Night Witches" by their German adversaries.

What set these women apart was not just their gender but their method of
operation. Flying outdated Polikarpov Po-2 biplanes, these wooden-framed,
canvas-covered relics were dubbed "crop dusters" by the Germans, hardly a match
for the formidable Luftwaffe. However, it was precisely this underestimation
that became their greatest advantage.

Operating under the cover of darkness, the Night Witches struck terror into the
hearts of the enemy. Flying low and slow, their Po-2s emitted a distinctive
whooshing sound, resembling a witch's broomstick, hence their ominous moniker.
With no parachutes and minimal defensive armament, they navigated through the
night skies, dropping their payloads of bombs on unsuspecting German encampments
and supply lines.

TSS EARNSLAW - THE LADY OF THE LAKE. A LADY WHO RUNS ON THE SWEAT OF MANPOWER

I am proud to pay tribute to a testimony to the power of coal. If a grand old
lady of over 100 years can still stand with coal power in a country seemingly
obsessed with renewables I have to say this: try running her on wind power or
solar panels. Or looking for a big enough power point to plug her into each
night. She works 14 hours a day in the summer months when the days are long and
there is always a brisk breeze on Lake Wakatipu but she still thrives on Coal.

Anyone who has ever visited the beautiful town of Queenstown in New Zealand,
will know the sight of the steamship Earnslaw.

The TSS Earnslaw is an integral part of Queenstown’s pioneering history and to
this day a Queenstown icon. She was commissioned by New Zealand Railways to
service the communities around Lake Wakatipu. Launched in the same year as the
Titanic, the TSS Earnslaw’s maiden voyage was on 18 October 1912.

And this grand old lady runs on something that is demonised today -  hard
back-breaking work and coal.
