As there is a limitation to how much clear aligners, by themselves, can move the teeth, Byte cannot fully correct an overbite, underbite, or an open bite, which would require either traditional braces, attachments, rubber bands, expanders, and in some cases, jaw surgery. Byte aligners may in some cases be able to lessen the appearance of an overbite, however, through better alignment of incisors and canine teeth.
