A BIT ABOUT ME...

I was very lucky at a young age to be introduced to watercolour by Tony Smibert
in Tasmania. An amazing watercolourist and teacher. I am forever in his debt for
giving me the gift of watercolour. 

I was also lucky to grow up in a place like Tasmania with untamed wilderness,
amazing light and so many different landscapes to explore! 

I have been painting in watercolour for over 30 years. In that time I have
travelled widely throughout Europe, America, Canada and South America, always
with the intention of immersing myself in nature, climbing mountains and
capturing light with my camera and later in my paintings. 

I have studied JMW Turner's original paintings at the Prints and Drawings Room
at the Tate Britain over many years while I lived in London. He was such a
master of painting light!

It has been a gradual evolution of visiting many galleries and observing art
that inspired me and then working out how I might go about capturing that
essence in my own painting.

I have held group and solo exhibitions in galleries in London, Sydney,
Wollongong (NSW), Hobart (Tasmania), Hounville (Tasmania) and Deloraine
(Tasmania). 

I have been teaching watercolour now for a number of years and my passion for
this medium grows with me! Let me introduce you to a medium that is often
considered difficult. Let me save you many years of frustration by holding your
hand and helping you befriend this medium. It can be your friend!

How long do I have access to the class after purchasing? When do I get access to
the class?

Can I view the classes more than once?
Yes! My classes are designed to “work at your own pace” therefore all of the
content is available as soon as you purchase and for as long as you need it! You
have unlimited access and can view the class as many times as you would like!
 
What supplies are required?
A list of recommended supplies are covered in each class. The number of paints
and brushes is kept to a minimum so you don't need a lot!
 
Approximate cost of supplies necessary?
We always recommend that you work within your own budget.  I will show you
my recommended supply list that is a mix of student grade and professional
supplies and why I chose them for the class. You can decide what to purchase
once you’ve watched the equipment module.  For example student grade paints are
fine to get started with and you can always upgrade as you grow your skills and
confidence!
 
Are there any supplies provided?
No, a list of recommended supplies is covered in each class.
 
Are the classes for beginners?
Yes! I take you through everything you need to know to get started as you work
on watercolour painting techniques in a very casual, fun, approach. You will
learn fundamental and foundational watercolour techniques that you can apply
right away!
 
Can I download the class?
The lessons are viewed via our online portal. Downloading of the class is not
available due to internet piracy. We hope you understand this is the only way to
protect the class from being resold.

How do I change my password?
Once you have accessed your account using your email and password you may change
your password by selecting the profile icon in the top right (This looks like

password twice. Select “Save” at the bottom right hand corner. 
 
What is the ebook and how do I use it?

is a PDF you can very easily download it and print if you would like to.
