Typically virtual trainings can be boring and hard to be attentive in. But the information was great and the instructors did an excellent job with their expertise of the software. Not much I can think of to alter for improvements. I look forward to other courses in the future when offered." ~ Eric J., Superintendent, Silver Springs, MD. "I have to admit that I was initially skeptical taking an online course for P6. I was beyond impressed with the delivery of the training – it could not have been any better! There were no glitches, the GoTo Meeting arrangement worked flawlessly, as did the remote desktop environment. The instructors did an absolutely stellar job in presenting the material in a calm, collected, and organized approach. I’ve been raving about it to my colleagues to anyone who will listen." ~ Justin W., Project Coordinator & Estimator "Class went great. I loved it. The trainers are easy to work with and they answer all questions thoroughly. I would advise my colleagues to take this course." ~ Essam N. Civil Engineer "The training was fantastic. I don’t think there could have been 2 better people to provide the training. The instructors were awesome and presented the material very well. Their knowledge of the material was clear." ~ Josh J., Electrical Field Engineer, Washington "I thought the training was excellent. The program was well organized. I really liked how the instructors “make” you run the program and provided all the background information for the different functions. We will probably have more PM’s take this webinar. I think it’s a great value." ~ Rob L., Vice President, Project Management, Elmira, NY "Training went great. I am someone who had never logged onto P6 before so I was as inexperienced as someone could be. The instructors kept a good pace moving through the lessons while answering questions effectively as they came up. They also kept my interest and kept me engaged. I believe I was running on 6 HRs of sleep for the first two days of training and didn’t fall asleep during either session if that’s a testament to them keeping us engaged. Overall it was a good experience. I learned much more than I will need to use for a fundamental course and the training manuals are laid out perfectly for me to go back and reference." ~ Ryker S., Project Manager "My experience with PPM’s virtual training was excellent. I was eager to learn this software already having SME level experience with both MS Project and Open Plan Pro. But, specifically, kudos for the following: * The structure, where modality was changed approximately every half hour or so, with some exceptions, was effective at keeping my attention, staying engaged. * That overlaps into the steady and expected interaction and practice time – this enabled me to proceed through lessons and focus on what I was learning rather than whether I would be able to perform on the job. * Having the tool, P6, available to ‘what if’ my own functional questions (in comparison especially to other scheduling software) was invaluable in assisting me to surmount a very short learning curve in a new position, in an industry new to me. * The instructors kept the class on track and were engaging, succinct, knowledgeable and they interacted well together. They managed to answer several questions while simultaneously instructing and kept us on schedule – a PMs dream. I can honestly say that this virtual training provided the same results as traditional training would have, but one better – I didn’t have to drive anywhere – and in SOCAL, that is always a priority consideration. I was referred to PPM by senior manager within the scheduling department of our company, so PPM already has had a very positive outcome here." ~ Patty H., Program Scheduler, Rosemead, CA "I thought the course was well done and has given me confidence to start the switch over to P6. The instructors were good at conveying their knowledge and I thought being able to have hands on through the remote software during the lesson was a big benefit." ~ Chris M., Project Manager, Ottawa, CA "The training was enjoyable and at a pace that I could follow. The fundamentals course turned out to be more helpful that I had anticipated, as I have some limited P6 experience. Now, however, I feel much more confident in what my capabilities are, and how I can leverage P6 to fit my customized needs. I now have a better perspective on my value as an associate at my firm, having acquired this training and ability to build on my working knowledge of P6. I liked the webinar environment. It was comfortable to see the instructors in more of a relaxed setting, and I think it helped prompt the attendees to speak more candidly when or if they had questions. The instructors were clearly, extremely knowledgeable on all subjects, and conducted themselves as professionals throughout the course. I do hope that I get the chance to, as my responsibilities increase, acquire more training from these folks in the future." ~ Zach C., P.E., Senior Project Engineer, Jacksonville, FL "I would recommend this training to anyone who is interested in learning P6. The instructors were very good instructors. This was my first webinar training and I liked having the RDP connection to actually do the lessons “hands on”. ~ Angela V., Project Manager, Comfort, TX "The training was very informative and executed very well by both instructors. Although I am inexperience with Primavera, I currently work with MSP and clearly see the advantages of using P6. Overall the training was very beneficial and educating." ~ Ron P., Senior Project Manager, Pompano Beach, FL "The training was great. I was initially reluctant to not sit in an actual class. However, the module and remote desktop seemed rather smooth. I enjoyed both instructors, they delivered the messages and class well, and also answered my questions and concerns with clarity. I would recommend this program to others. In fact, I would like to participate in the advanced class at a later date when I have had time to practice and learn a bit more on my own." ~ Scott A., Project Engineer, California "Training was great, the instructors were great at presenting and training in primavera. I have nothing but positive comments on the way they do training. Such as guiding us step by step and proving assistance if we got stuck or we needed clarification." ~ Aries R., Project Engineer, L.A. California "This was a very good course the instructors were very knowledgeable. I have taken a couple of P6 introductory courses before one was with my company, the other was with an offsite vendor. The training that PPM Global did was much better laid out and much better understood than either my company or the offsite vendor. I am mostly self-taught on P6 this course has giving me a better understanding of how Primavera works and taught me a lot of things I did not know. I am planning on taking the Advanced class Next year." ~Michael S., Turnaround Coordinator / Scheduler, Louisiana "The training went very well. The instructors were great teachers and very knowledgeable. I learned a lot, especially what I wanted to get out of the class (I wanted to learn how to create a schedule, perform updates, do look ahead schedules, etc.). I have recommended this class to my company for anyone else looking to learn the program or if they went to take the advanced class. I don’t have anything negative to say, it was an enjoyable class and you have two great teachers." ~Mark B., Project Manager, Boston, MA "I found the class to be informative and helpful. I feel that the class dove deep and hit on areas that I may not even get into with what our company does. The manual will be very helpful in the future as well. All in all it was a good class." ~ Darren E., Project Engineer / Field Engineer, Omaha, NE "I truly enjoyed the course. It filled in a lot of blank space in my transition from P3 to P6 after a decade of doing other stuff. I taught Project and Construction Management at the Graduate Level some years ago, and I must say that the instructor was is a highly productive professional and an excellent teacher of a complex subject. We will definitely take advantage of other classes from you all in the future." ~ Don S., Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager; Jackson, MS "I loved the training and the way the instructor taught it. I learned a lot in those three days. The course was excellence and very detailed; and the instructor was very professional." ~ Belinda M., Cost Engineer; Miami, FL "I learned a lot. The training was ground up and helpful as to the basic steps needed to create a complete schedule. The problem is it exposed the fact that there is a very large amount of the program we don’t use and need to learn. The instructor is obviously one of the elite P6 guru’s, but has the ability to contain his throbbing cranial and bring it down to a level we can understand. The training manual I now refer to as the (P6 Bible) is one of the best I have seen. Even if you got behind in the course you could catch up in a short amount of time following it. Our company performs many projects with NAVFAC and USACE each year. This is close to 80% of our business. The scheduling and cost loading requirements for these design build contracts are complicated and critical. We spend a tremendous amount of money each year on third party schedulers. This course showed that a large amount of the ground work can be completed in house ahead of time saving a substantial amount of money." ~ Keith W., Project Manager; Sacramento, CA "The class was top notch. While at first I was kind of dreading the idea of having to sit in front of a computer screen for 3 days didn't really appeal to me, the instructor made it interesting and a very productive." ~ Tom S., Director of Field Operations; Rancho Cucamonga, AC "The instructor did a great job presenting the class. I was pleased with how it went and what I learned. I was a suretrak user for years and recently upgraded to P6." ~ Todd "Training went very well. I was impressed with how sharp the instructor was and how much we were able to cover over the three days. My feedback is all positive." ~Garrett M., Project Controls Engineer; Oak Ridge, TN "Since I had such a great experience with your service and staff, I will be referring my colleagues that need to learn the P6 software." ~ Mo T., Virtual Design Construction Project Manager; San Juan Capistrano, CA "The training went very well. I liked the overall structure of the class. The number of days and time each day I felt was good. Not too long and not too short. Even though the instructor was not physically with us, the webinar type training went fairly smooth with only a couple minor hiccups that were easy to resolve. It was very helpful to have the training manual with us as we went along so we could easily reference back to something if we needed to. Plus it's a great tool to have for future reference in case we forget how to do something! All of our expectations were met with this class. There were 7 participants including myself and we all really got a lot out of it. A lot of us had no exposure to P6 and this was a great introductory course. I really cannot think of anything negative about it. The instructor was great and I look forward to working with him and PPM Global going forward as we implement P6 into our business." ~ Adam L., IT Administrator; Carnegie, PA "The training went very well. I found the instructor to be extremely knowledgeable about Primavera P6 and more than just knowledgeable he was relatable and provided the content of the course in a manageable way. I feel like I received a very good basis for starting P6 projects and am excited to start the process over the next week or so. The course content (manual) as well as all the web conferencing was extremely smooth and there were very minimal interruptions; i.e. I could see and here the instructor clearly as well as his screen and the remote desktop. All in all it was a very pleasant experience and I would most definitely recommend you guys in the future if the opportunity presents itself." ~ Frank M., Yaphank, NY "The training was very good. The instructor did a great job keeping us engaged and sticking to the subject material. I feel like I learned a lot from this class and it will be very helpful moving forward." ~ Reid W., Williamsburg, VA "I enjoyed the P6 training and felt it was very educational and informative. I had been poking around in the program before the class and was a bit lost but am far more confident now the training is complete. The instructor was very knowledgeable, helpful and patient; she seemed organized and thorough and answered questions clearly and concisely." ~ Isobel H., Project Engineer; Montrose, CO "The training was well organized and the material is easy to follow. From the Technical perspective the material is very well prepared. I liked the means of presentation, the meeting room was well prepared, I like that we can call, talk and chat. I also liked the remote desktop setting. Overall the class was great and it helped me tremendously. I am grateful for your class." ~ Carlos C., Staff Engineer; Los Angeles, CA "I thought that the training, in terms of format, content, and presentation was excellent. I’ve been using Primavera scheduling products since 1990 and thought I knew all there was to know about this software. Well, I was wrong." ~ Jon M., Senior Program Controls Analyst; Austin TX "I wanted to thank you for providing a well taught course on Primavera P6. The instructor was very helpful and knowledgeable on the software. The instructor was able to answer any questions I had and informed me on the procedures for any future technical support questions I might have. The course was well structured and the training manual provided on P6 was clearly written and organized. The training on WBS layout and updating the schedule was the most informative to me about the course." ~ Alex J., Assistant Project Manager; Roswell, GA "The training was excellent. I am well on my way to becoming the Primavera user I’ve always wanted to be." ~ Karen N., Planner-Scheduler; New Orleans, LA "I just have compliments for the program and more specially for the instructor we had. The training was very organized and clear, the instructor was very professional and passionate and made it very enjoyable. The manual is very clear and easy to follow." ~ Sandra W., Cost Engineer; Miami, FL "Training was well presented and it was good to learn about the new features of P6. We’re already talking about taking an advance course." ~ Angela T., Sr. Schedule Manager; Miami, FL "it was a great experience for our team to participate in the training, Excellent teacher, and he explained in detail all the technical questions." ~ Diego, G., PMP, Program Controls; Miami, FL "The course was well prepared. I was a little bit nervous as this has been the first online course with this duration and was concerned that the tools would not work properly, but this has not been the case. I am not a planner. I am an engineering manager and I was looking for a high level course that could give me the basis to manipulate the software in order to get the information i really need for my job and to manage my team. This course gave me a good basic level on information to do what I will need to do as very often a simple print of hundreds pages of Gantt diagram with no logic are not really useful." ~ Christian T., Principal Engineering Manager, United Kingdom "The instructor did very well in comprehensively going through the material covered in the manual. The class was interactive allowing the audience to ask questions in real time. " ~Pamela D., Project Planning Specialist; Fairlawn, OH "I am happy with 3-Day Primavera training class that I took. The instructors were very helpful and very knowledgeable with training materials. The instructor explained complicated subject in plain language. I give A+ grade to the instructors." ~Kelvin Z., Sr. Director; LA, CA "The training went well. This was the first time I've used this type of training environment and I felt it provided a great place to learn the software and opportunity to ask questions. I had no prior experience with the P6 program, but the course definitely brought me up to speed with the functionality and basics to create a project schedule which is what I was interested in learning." ~Randal B., P.E.; Metairie, LA "This was my first time using a Primavera program so everything was brand new. The instructor did a great job of explaining everything so I could understand, she was great. It was overall a good experience." ~ Jake W.; Florence, AL "The training manual is very helpful and easy to follow. The instructor did an excellent job of making sure everyone was following along and she took her time while walking through the steps. Overall, it was a good experience." ~ Jimmy B., Estimator / Project Manager; Fresno, CA "The instructor was great at providing a detailed introduction to the Primavera Software (which is exactly what I was looking for). Furthermore, the use of the remote access to the software was a great feature." ~ Bryan M., Assistant Engineer; Miami, FL. "I really enjoyed the P6 training. I thought it was a great format, and really helped with the fundamental items needed for starting with P6 scheduling. Dual monitors were great for being able to see slides and the remote desktop at the same time. It was easy to ask questions, and the questions were answered promptly. That was probably one of the best, and most informative, online training workshops I have attended." ~ Thomas F., Assistant Project Manager; San Antonio, TX "I learned a lot from the class. I would like to comment about the training material. I thought it was very well organized and it will be a really nice reference for future work in Primavera. The material was great and it fully supported the classroom lecture that was well organized and well presented. I have had to create software training packages before and I know it is a tedious process. I don’t think people, who have never written training material, realize how much effort it takes to create the kind of training material that was provided in this class. I liked the online/live presentation of the course so that I did not have to travel. I did not experience any computer glitches at all in this class. It worked well with 2 instructors because 1 person was able to answer online written questions without interrupting the entire class. It was also nice that they threw in enough project management that I was able to get continuing education credit for my PMP for the class." ~Tania G., Project Manager; Westminster, CO "The course was very well done. The pace at which the course was taught, the way the information was presented, and how the information was presented was perfect. The instructors were great. This was the first webinar I have taken and was a bit unsure how it would go. It went great and I will certainly recommend the course to others. I’d like to schedule a couple others from my firm to attend in the future." ~Andy K., Construction Manager, Yorkville, IL "The training was very effective and helpful. Being able to work on the remote desktop and practice using the software was the best way to learn P6. The manual that was given out is a great tool as well as it makes navigating the software dummy proof. Overall I had a great experience and the instructors were fantastic. I would recommend this training course to anyone who is interested." ~ Abel V., Assistant Project Manager; Davie, FL "The training was great. I really feel like I learned a lot about P6 during these three days. the trainers were so wonderful. They had incredible knowledge about P6 and had every answer to every questions the students presented. They kept it entertaining and enjoyable. I really don’t see how my experience could have gone any better." ~ Nathan W., Project Estimator, Baton Rouge, LA "I am a seasoned scheduler but had 2 objectives for taking the Fundamental Course at this time. 1. We have a lot of junior level people at our company, a handful of them interested in taking this type of course, so it was a way for me to evaluate the value 2. I come from the DOS Primavera days and P3 is where I had the majority of my trainings so I wanted to learn any new bells and whistles that I may have missed by not having an updated training I can confidently say that both of my objectives were met with flying colors. I can easily tell my bosses that the course is appropriate for newer schedulers and anyone really needing/wanting a refresher. In addition, I did learn some fun new “easier” ways to get to something in the software. At the end of the day, it reminded me of why I enjoy Primavera!" ~ Joni F., Senior Project Manager; Denver, CO "The instructors were phenomenal, hands down! Both were extremely professional and very knowledgeable about the software and project managing as well. I don’t know how you scooped those two up, but they are assets and they are worth their weight in gold. Please share my comments with them, I would appreciate that very much. If and when I do need further training on anything for my career, I am going to you all!" ~ Kate R., Operations Manager "The instructors were great. I really liked the way the material was presented and reinforced. I also liked the fact there were two instructors who alternated and monitored the feedback while one was teaching. I would recommend this class it was highly informative and I learned a lot about P6 that I didn’t know." ~ Hillary H., San Bernardino, CA "Training went very well. Signing up for the class was extremely easy. All instructions before beginning the course answered all questions I had and once the course began, it was very easy to follow along and the instructors explained the material very well." ~ Jack K., Construction Engineer, DuPage, IL "The training went really well, the instructors are very professional and very knowledgeable in this field. I would not change anything" ~ Noel S., PMP, Project Manager, Etobicoke , ON, Canada "I enjoyed the class. I found it very interactive, adequate breaks, and knowledgeable teachers." ~ Amber B., Office Assistant, Maysville, KY "The P6 class was absolutely perfect for someone like me with a fair amount of computer skill but little/no experience with P6! The instructors were fantastic teachers and paced the learning at a rate that was extremely digestable, yet informative enough to feel like I learned a ton over the 3 day period. Any questions we had were promptly answered. I’ve told several managers at my place of employment the same thing. I give the course high marks all around, and it gave me a great deal of resources to look back on for reference in the future." ~ Andrew S., Project Manager, Oak Ridge, TN "I thought the training went really well. I found the instructors to be extremely knowledgeable. I also enjoyed the homework which I found helpful. We were not just watching but participating." ~ Laura H., Admin Manager, Anchorage, AK "The training was overall a very good experience. I have some scheduling experience and this course showed me a few of those tools that can be used that you probably wouldn’t know existed if someone had not shown you. We are going to use a few of those items in our monthly PM training we do at our company and try to make some things standard. As for the Instructors, I thought they did very well in presenting the information." ~ John L., Project Manager, Austin, TX "I found the course very informative and was exactly what I was looking for. Both instructors were excellent instructors. They have an obvious passion for this work and it comes across in the way they present instruction to the students." ~ Carey S., COO, Burnaby, BC, Canada "You have a stellar Team! It was a great webinar and was very useful. I appreciated the pace and added efforts with your team to ensure successful retention of the core understandings. Will look forward to additional training in the future." ~ Will F., PM, Atascadero, CA "The 3-day fundamental training class was; * Good internet connection * Good sound connection * Good overview of fundamental training materials * Overall, good experience." ~ Dale L., Program Manager, East Pittsburgh, PA "The training went very well. Materials and presentation were of top quality. Both instructors were very knowledgeable, helpful, and overall just great presenters. On a scale of 1-10 I’d have to give them a 10." ~ Marshall D., Project Manager, Newfoundland and Labrador Canada "Training was well presented, lots of information and new items that I was not aware of with P-6. We covered so much ground that I am still working it all out. Class structure and plan was well delivered, facilitators are very knowledgeable in P6 and the works of the system, and very helpful" ~ Steve M., Director of Capital Projects, Salt Lake City, UT "I enjoyed the course very much. Your instructors are outstanding! They have a very deep knowledge base on the subject of P6 software and project management. They were enjoyable to interact with and listening to their instructions. The virtual P6 program interaction was fantastic as well. Your company provided a very organized and detailed online class. I’m very grateful for what I have learned." ~ Lee J., Superintendent, Monterey, CA "The training went really well. Having 2 teachers makes it less monotonous. They both were really good. The training provides a good idea of the basis capabilities of the program." ~ Clara B., Construction Design Manager, Spring, TX "I found the training very useful, especially having no experience with P6. It was an overall positive and helpful environment." ~ Cheyenne G., Office Engineer, Carnegie, PA "I think it was a great course to be honest I wasn’t expecting this quality. The professors knew everything very well and knew how to transmit that information to us. I feel more confident now with the program." ~ Ena L., Assistant PM, Philadelphia, MS "The training was very beneficial and informative. I like the pace at which the instructors were teaching. The teachers were very extremely prompt at responding. The instructors did a good job of covering a lot of content in a short span. Overall it was very worthwhile." ~ Slokka S., Claims Manager, New York, NY "The training course was excellent! The technology worked well, the materials were on point, the training flow and timing were prefect and the instructors exhibited deep understanding of the software and it’s inner workings, allowing for clear, concise and comprehensive instruction and question answering. I would recommend the class to others." ~ Bill G., Strategy & Capacity Planning Manager, Pittsburgh, PA "I really enjoyed the class. It was very easy for me to follow along with the instructors. My overall experience was positive. I will look into taking the advanced course as I gain more experience with P6. From time to time, the student may receive reminders from GoToWebinar that contain the statement, “If you can't attend this webinar, you may cancel your registration at any time.” This statement is automatically generated by GoToWebinar and is unrelated to the cancellation policy established by PPM Global Services, Inc. Cancellations made via GoToWebinar are not valid within the terms of this policy. 5. Transfers If space is available, PPM Global Services, Inc. is happy to accommodate requests to transfer students between classes of the same type. In the event that training materials, required for the originally schedule class become obsolete, (i.e. a student transfers from a PMP Exam Prep class for PMBOK 5th edition to PMBOK 6th Edition), then the student may purchase new training materials from PPM Global Services, Inc. which are compatible with the new class. PPM Global Services, Inc. will not accept returns, or issue refunds for training materials which have been electronically issued to, or shipped to the student. 6. Substitutions PPM Global Services, Inc. is happy to accommodate requests to substitute the registration of one student for the registration of another student, in the same class. Training materials are personalized to each student and licensed on a named-student basis. Therefore, training materials are non-transferable. Upon substitution, PPM Global Services, Inc. will issue a new set of training materials to the new student. A fee of $250 will be assessed to cover the cost of issuing new training materials to the new student. 7.
