Many companies want their logos to be worn by the best players because they will always have the most eyes on them in the scene. New eSport organizations always gets the people’s attention. Entering the scene in such a massive way by signing such talented players off the bat shows the promise that this organization will bring. And in that, people will follow the team, and in turn will make the brand much larger on all social media pages. A very notable aspect of having AITX enter the realm of eSports is the fact that they are now giving their sponsored players the opportunity to unleash their true potential at the game. Traveling to national major tournaments is a very difficult process for many players, and arguably the biggest hurdle for players trying to make a name for themselves. But with the aid of a sponsor, our players now have the funds necessary for hotels, airfare, and tournament fees. Now they can compete at a national level and prove why AITX is a force to be reckoned with. The SMASH community has been playing the game for over 20 years at this point, and the amount of technical skill, both in game and in hardware, is unmatched. In game, people are understanding the game at a pixel-based level now, and optimization is the future. But on the hardware end, the talent that the community has is on another level. Developing new controllers that make movements 1-1 from player to the action on screen, creating a new net code for a game that is 21 years old, and even creating a modified switch dock specifically designed for the competitive scene. AITX is the perfect brand for this because many of the players who learned about this technology would be very interested in what we are creating. As we have learned from the past half decade or so now, esports have proven to be one of the fastest growing industries right now, and the talent is only growing. Starting an organization now is the perfect time because it is still a new concept with so much room to grow, but enough proof behind it to show that it works. Smash is a scene that needs new organizations to show that there is still interest in supporting the scene. It is also the largest fighting game scene and is slowly becoming a top level esport. With official endorsement from Nintendo now, large tournaments are becoming a much more common and widely accepted.
