NUTTYCATS SUPPORT GROUP FOR TRANSSEXUAL PEOPLE


Secure and confidential online help and support for adults at all stages of
treatment from questioning of gender through to post-operative care. Our warm
invitation is also extended to partners and families. We are based in the UK,
but our membership extends across the globe. All are equally welcome.


NuttycaTS is one of the worlds oldest Trans support forums. Since 2002 we have
offered a small friendly community atmosphere within which our members can share
questions, experiences and knowledge, and in doing so seek and provide mutual
support. With over 420,000 posts, our Forum categories range from specific
medical aspects of Transition to the more general aspects of life. Diary threads
are a feature of the NuttycaTS forums, and provide a safe space for members to
blog about their lives.





NuttycaTS supports equal and fair rights for all people (and cats), regardless
of gender identity or sexual preference, religious or cultural differences,
mental or physical health issues.


> CONFIDENTIALITY




The Privacy and confidentiality of our members is a cornerstone of our ethos. We
have various security measures in place to protect against loss, misuse or
alteration of the information under our control. All information transmitted
between our forums and our users Internet browsers are encrypted with a 2048-bit
security certificate CSR encryption technology to enable secure internet
communications to take place to prevent unauthorised access, hacking and
snooping.

We have additional security procedures and firewalls in place to protect the
confidentiality, integrity and availability of our users Information. Also,
Search Engines, Trackers, advertising company software and other internet
technology used to profile users browsing the web are actively blocked from
accessing the NuttycaTS Forums. We also use IP blocklists to actively block
access from dubious and blacklisted servers and known spammers and hackers.


Furthermore, all prospective members are carefully vetted and/or vouched for
prior to being allowed to join the forums. We also actively monitor our forums
and any member who is found to be complicit in breaking confidentiality is
immediately banned. We also reserve the right to report any breach of
confidentiality to the Police or other relevant authority.



WE BELIEVE WE ARE THE ONLY TRANS SUPPORT FORUM ON THE INTERNET OFFERING THESE
SECURITY PROCEDURES, AND YOU CAN REST ASSURED THAT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
WILL BE SAFER WITH US THAN WITH ANY OTHER ONLINE FORUM OR SOCIAL NETWORK.


> ACCESSIBILITY




We are committed to making our Support Forum as accessible as possible. By this
we mean making sure that our content is available to users with physical or
sensory impairments and who use assistive technology like screen readers and to
those users with slower internet connections or older computers. For this
reason, our forums offer two different user interfaces, a standard default one
for use with modern computers and large touch screen devices, and a second user
interface aimed at those using small touch screen devices, slow internet speeds
or accessibility issues. Users can easily select and change interfaces manually,
depending on their preference and/or type of device they are using at the time.
However, both of our user interfaces achieve a minimum of the AA accessibility
rating, as defined by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), the body
responsible for setting global website accessibility standards.


Although every effort is made to ensure that our Support Forum is accessible to
all users, some users may have specific accessibility requirements that we have
not accounted for. In such cases, just contact us and we'll do all we can to
customise NuttycaTS to meet your needs.



WINDOWS 10 & 11


Windows 10 & 11, with default settings, cannot be recommended due to the data
collection software built into the OS by Microsoft which collects all your
computer activity and tramsmits it back to Microsoft. Every file you open, every
website you vist, everything you watch or listen to, every word you type. If you

reading back through my diary and realised just how far I've come in the short
time I've been here. I arrived here totally confused about everything with no
idea of where I was going. Just three months later I know exactly where I want

least know that I will get there in the end.

When I stumbled across NuttycaTS I had just begun my journey. Only a couple of
people very close to me knew anything about me being Transsexual. After fumbling
with the registration, Nuttycat herself replied to my request for assistance and
was very helpful. Initially I joined simply to read what others had to say. I
had never posted anywhere on the net about Transsexualism. God! how could I?
Once I was able to read the other members' posts, I knew that I had found the
most friendly, most helpful site on the internet for TS's like me. Just
starting, terrified, and lonely. Soon I was posting without fear knowing most of
the members had either "been there, done that," or had at least thought about
the same issues I was going through, so great advice is in abundance here. I
feel that without the wonderful discussions and growing friendships I've
developed here on NuttycaTS I would not be as far as I am now in my transition.
I've got to say that there isn't a single more friendly place on the net as far
as I can say!



AMBER:

I just wanted to say that NuttycaTS has been more warm and welcoming than I
could have ever dared hope. As someone who has just started out on my journey I
couldn't wish for nicer travelling companions.

support forum.

As many of you know I am not T/S,but this site has enabled me to better
understand and appreciate your desires and what you will do to achieve your
goals.Before I found this site I knew a little about the clinical side,but
nothing about your personal problems,fears and ambitions,and I believe that it
is through this forum that I have grown closer to my new dearest daughter.



(NAME WITHELD):

I did join a site which purported to support 'Significant Others' but found it
very closeted and rather intolerant of GG married to TG people who were less
than enamoured with their situation. I would like to join Nuttycats as I hear
that it is a well managed site that supports and discusses all aspects of these
situations and at the same time protects the individual rights and dignities of
its members.



ANNE:

I find NuttycaTS to be a wonderful site filled with compassionate advice given
by a marvelous bunch of women, each sharing their experiences and council freely
and without reserve. I believe that I have already gained some valuable insight
which will help me as I advance towards the ultimate resolution of my own
lifelong gender struggle.
