KARTIK AARYAN, VIDYA BALAN PROMOTE BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 ON HOWRAH BRIDGE

The promotions for Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have been
going on in full swing. After wrapping up Mumbai promotions, the actors arrived
in Kolkata to conclude the final leg of promotions. On October 28, Kartik and
Vidya were seen promoting their film while standing atop Kolkata’s iconic yellow
taxi on the Howrah Bridge. Fans gathered below captured the moment on their
phones.
Vidya Balan, who reprised her role as Manjulika, 17 years after Bhool Bhulaiyaa
in 2007, was seen getting into the skin of her character during the film’s
promotions. She was seen playfully holding Kartik by his neck while standing
atop a yellow taxi on the Howrah Bridge.
“The fight gets more intense as they reach their home ground-Iconic Howrah
Bridge, Kolkata (sic),” wrote Kartik and Vidya in a joint post while sharing
photos from the promotions.

Dressed as Rooh Baba, Kartik had even shot for the film on the Howrah Bridge.

For the unversed, Vidya Balan was approached for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which became
a massive success in 2022. However, she had rejected the part. During Bhool
Bhulaiyaa 3 promotions, the actor revealed why. “I’ll tell you, the only reason
(why) I didn’t do 2 (Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2)”, she said, further adding, “I wanted to
work on Bhool Bhulaiyaa again, (but) I was so scared because Bhool Bhulaiyaa 1
has given me so much.”
She continued, “I said, ‘maine gadbad kar diya toh sab paani phir jaayega’ (what
if I end up messing everything this time!) I had told Anees (Bazmee) bhai also
that I couldn’t take the risk. But, when they came back to me with 3, I loved
the script, I was dying to work on this with Anees Bhai and Bhushan, and then it
only kept getting better.”
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is an Anees Bazmee directorial. The film, which also stars
Triptii Dimri and Madhuri Dixit in key roles, releases on November 1.
