I provide embedded software consulting and contract development services. I’m
ready to help across all phases of your product development. Although I’m based
in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I have years of experience remotely developing
embedded software.


SERVICES

Developing embedded software for your prototype or product. Whether your project
is ambiguous or well-defined, I can develop the small and large parts of your
embedded software. I enjoy writing both code and documentation.

I develop embedded software using modern C++ and Rust. If you’re considering
Rust for your next project, my services are discounted.

Gathering software requirements and creating a software architecture. I’ll help
you understand what embedded software to build, and how to build it. Not only
does this help us with today’s planning, but it also aids tomorrow’s software
maintenance and evolution.

I’ve worked under rigorous software development processes while developing
medical devices and automotive systems. If necessary, I can help define your
organization’s development process by contributing towards a software
development plan.

Establishing automatic software quality checks. To simplify software integration
and improve software quality, I develop embedded software with automated unit
and integration tests, and also static and dynamic analyses. I’m ready to
develop hardware-in-the-loop tests for your system.

Evaluating, integrating, and extending open source software. As an open source
maintainer, I’m familiar with open source licenses and their obligations. I can
help you integrate and extend open source software to expedite your product
development. I’ll work with the open source software maintainers to upstream our
changes, reducing your software maintenance efforts.
