JIU JITSU

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu transcends being just a physical practice; it’s a profound
journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Beyond the technical intricacies of
joint locks and positional strategies, Jiu Jitsu instills life-changing

INSTRUCTOR

MEET BRIAN CORONA

Brian is from Buckingham, VA. He has been training BJJ since 2013. He received
his brown belt under Scott Oates of Virginia Beach (Ribiero) jiu jitsu on 08 May
2021.

IBJJF gold medal winner (blue belt – master 4 class)
2017 Washington DC international open
Silver Medal (master class 4 purple belt)
Washington DC spring international open 2018

Retired Coast Guard Chief with 26 years of combined service (4 Marine Corps) in
December 2015. Excited to continue my bjj journey and pass on my knowledge at
300 Jiu Jitsu.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 * HOW DOES MEMBERSHIP WORK?
   
   Membership is on a monthly basis. The day you start will be the intake date
   and your first payment is due and then you will be charged that amount each
   month. You will not be asked to sign a contract and the membership will be on
   a month to month basis and you can cancel at any time with no penalty. The
   membership is $85 dollars per month and that covers unlimited class time to
   both Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai.

 * DO I NEED ANY PAPERWORK DONE BEFORE MY FIRST CLASS?
   
   All the paperwork you will need to complete will be ready and waiting for you
   when you arrive at the academy. This paperwork includes waiver form and
   paperwork to set up payment for your membership, so you will need your credit
   or ATM card number. And your first week of class is free, so you can check us
   our before enrolling.

 * WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY FIRST CLASS?
   
   For you first class you will want to wear a BJJ Gi if you have one and if you
   don’t have one don’t worry we have loaner Gis at the academy for you to use
   until you get your own Gi. For Muay Thai class you will just want to wear
   comfortable shorts and t-shirt you can move around freely in.

 * WHEN ARE CLASS TIMES?
   
   Currently our class times are:
   Muay Thai- Monday and Wednesday 6:30-7:30
   Jit Jitsu – Tuesday and Thursday, Kids class 6:30-7:30 Adult class 7:30-8:30
