MASTER THE ARMY COMBAT FITNESS TEST

This site is intended to guide you through a full body fitness routine, focused
on priming your body to take on the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT). Evolution
and adaptability are the cornerstones of our force – and while the Army Physical
Fitness Test has served us for over 40 years, our improved understanding of
exercise science and physical training has prompted a reinvigoration of the
Army’s physical fitness requirements and standards. The ACFT will strengthen our
fitness culture, reduce injuries, and increase Army readiness. The Army’s
physical readiness program and physical fitness test must evolve to reduce
injuries and empower soldiers’ abilities to perform those basic Soldier tasks on
an age and gender neutral battlefield. The ACFT drives balanced and appropriate
physical training that will strengthen our soldiers, reduce overuse injuries and
unplanned attrition, and improve readiness across our fighting force.
