   We delighted to announce that Alstom, in Alliance with DT Infrastructure has
   been awarded a contract from the Public Transport Authority of Western
   Australia to introduce advanced High Capacity Signalling technology for
   Perth’s suburban rail network in Australia. This will be the largest
   signalling project in the world by route length, delivered by an Alliance
   comprising the Public Transport Authority, Alstom and DT Infrastructure. DT
   Infrastructure’s expert local workforce will install Alstom’s world-class
   Urbalis Communications-Based Train Control signalling technology, that will
   deliver a 40% increase in capacity to the Perth network. The METRONET High
   Capacity Signalling project represents the culmination of nearly a decade of
   work by the Public Transport Authority, integrating the broader METRONET rail
   strategy encompassing the existing, extended and newly constructed C-series
   trains built by Alstom in Bellevue, Perth. Perth will enjoy the latest in
   signalling technology, network energy-saving benefits and state-of-the-art
   cybersecurity, guaranteeing local jobs and Perth’s transportation needs for

   meters long and 2.40 meters wide, this generation is the new king on Berlin's
