Hello my fellow golf addicts! My name is Shelby and I'm a part-time Professional
Golfer and club fitter. I was born and raised in Lima, OH and graduated from the
University of Findlay in 2017 with two accounting degrees and an MBA and with
All-American status. Golf continues to be a big part of my life! I have played
on a handful of tours including the WAPT in the hopes of one day playing on the
LPGA Tour. My husband and I moved in 2022 back home to Findlay, Ohio from New
Orleans, LA where I was practicing at TPC Louisiana. Back at my old stomping
grounds practicing for tourneys and club fitting! I am around golf all day long
whether it's helping folks on Curated or in person with their equipment needs or
adjusting equipment for my own. I'm truly passionate about equipment and helping

until 6 years later, I hopped on my first snowboard and fell in love! Trips to
the mountain turned into a weekend ritual. Now I spend the season getting on as

Originally from Warwick, Rhode Island, I moved to the Minneapolis area where I
began my career on the ground floor, working as a line cook. It was there that I
discovered my passion and fell in love with food and the culinary industry. I
then moved into a Sous Chef position at a Minneapolis hotel. This is where I
honed my skills under the watchful eye of the Executive Chef, who was also a
former culinary instructor. Eventually, I became the Executive Chef, taking the
reins from my mentor. From there, I continued my career leading the kitchens of
various establishments, including my own full-service catering company. I
transitioned into a corporate chef and taught hundreds of cooking and knife
skill classes, from Alaska to Hawaii, Florida to Maine and everywhere in
between. I also was featured on the main stage at several wine and food events
across the country. I appeared in many local and national TV spots. Currently I

Growing up in Chicago, my passion for food started early while cooking in the
kitchen with my Italian Grandma. She taught me the simplicity of high quality
ingredients, cooked with proper technique. This lead me to culinary school at
The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. Being there for four years
really solidified that this was the field I was meant to be in for the rest of
my life. I learned how to cook every cuisine and met fellow classmates from
around the globe. I graduated in 2008 with honors, with a Bachelors Degree in
Culinary Arts Management. From there I worked in kitchens all over the states,
from New York to San Francisco, Los Angeles, and ultimately ending up in Chicago
again. I explored every position from baking to pastry, hot appetizers, fish,
and grill stations. In my 18 years of experience, I've had the opportunity to
work in kitchen management as a Chef and in the Front of House as a General
Manager. The thing that I LOVE about this industry is that it has allowed me to
learn something new every single day. Throughout the years I have had the
opportunity to work with all different kinds of cooking equipment, cookware and
