Thank you for the opportunity to enter this amazing giveaway! I have been
suffering from a debilitating chronic illness that came on nearly 5 years ago
and completely changed my life overnight. Prior to that I was extremely fit- a
fitness professional actually- and hiking and nature has always been my passion.
I haven’t been able to work for years due to this illness and have been doing
everything humanely possible to improve my health situation in order to get back
out and be active again. This year I will be embarking on a 1,200 mile thru hike
of the Ice Age Trail and it is a long time coming…Planning and doing anything
and everything I can to acquire the necessary gear has been years in the making
and I’m not there yet. Were I to win this, I’m fairly certain I would cry with
joy! The vision of this hike is what has kept me going through the most painful
and debilitating times. I appreciate the chance to win some gear. If I have to
crawl across Wisconsin, dragging my backpack behind me, I WILL complete my hike!
Thanks for all you do Garage Grown Gear. Feel free to share any of this with
others for inspiration. You’re the BEST!!

Love this! I do a ton of backpacking and already own bedrocks and a hyperlight
