Save animals and taxes by cutting the root problem: wasteful government
spending. join the fight

OVERVIEW

White Coat Waste Project is a taxpayer watchdog group representing more than 2
million liberty-lovers and animal-lovers who all agree: taxpayers shouldn’t be
forced to pay over $20 billion every year for wasteful and cruel experiments on
dogs, cats, monkeys and other animals.

Join the fight: because taxpayers have a right to know who’s paying the bills…
and who’s cashing the checks.

OUR STRATEGY

step 1: Find the Waste

Investigate and analyze wasteful government spending on animal experiments

step 2: Expose the Waste

Educate a new generation of taxpayers on how their money is being wasted.

step 3: Defund the Waste

Build a diverse coalition of liberty-lovers, animal-lovers, doctors, scientists
and bipartisan lawmakers to stop wasteful government spending on taxpayer-funded
animal experiments

WHAT THEY ARE SAYING

> As much of the United States entered COVID lockdowns in April 2020, a tiny
> group that campaigns against federal funding for animal experiments spotted an
> opportunity. WCW sprung into action, persuading DailyMail to run a story
> saying the US government had funded the [Wuhan] lab. Then all hell broke
> loose. Buzzfeed

> More than any other group, it is WCW that has elevated the cause of stopping
> these horrific government experimentations on dogs and puppies into the
> mainstream political conversation. Glenn Greenwald, Pulitzer Prize Winner

> GOP Lawmakers, Biden Come Together on Cats…funding for the Russian labs was
> discontinued. For the lawmakers and the White Coat Waste Project—not to
> mention the cats—that felt like a win. The Bulwark

> White Coat Waste Project is not a traditional animal advocacy organization,
> but one focused on what it says is government waste on testing — the kind of
> issue that could appeal to both fiscal conservatives and animal rights
> activists. Washington Post

> Not a single federal primate lab was closed by an establishment animal rights
> group during either the Trump or Biden administrations. White Coat Waste
> Project, which focuses on taxpayer spending, closed down three. TimCast

> Thanks to the White Coat Waste Project for helping to expose the Wuhan Lab.
> Senator Rand Paul

> The White Coat Waste Project, with the help of Collins and other lawmakers,
> has prompted the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Defense,
> the Food and Drug Administration, and the National Institutes of Health to
> create retirement policies for lab animals. NPR

> WCW was the first to expose the money flow between EcoHealth and the Wuhan
> laboratories, with a strong campaign run by its President Anthony Bellotti and
> Deputy Justin Goodman. Sharri Markson, What Really Happened in Wuhan
