I'm by no means a professional welder. I did a lot of research with YouTube
reviews and read lots of reviews on Flux core welding units. My garage is wired
for 120v, so I needed a cost effective, 120v welder. I almost bought the HF
titanium 135 unit. I like that I can stick/arc weld with the Yes Welder and that
was what sold me on this one. Loading Flux core wire is pretty straight forward
and hooking up the welding leads is simple. I did change out the MIG shielding
nozzle for a Flux core shield and that allows for a less obstructed view of your
weld pool area. I've done a lot of practice weld beads and built my first
project using the square tubing from an old generator to build a small project
for my charcoal grill. Once you dial in your voltage/wire speed, this thing
welds awesome...In my opionion. I'm extremely happy with the Yes Welder and look
forward to completing some ofmy other projects.

I dont leave a lotnof reviews, especially on items like welders where they may
work great for a bit but sure don't EVERLAST in a tool collection. I've used
this thing daily, well almost daily, for over 5 months trying to find it's
limits. I havnt yet. I've used it more since I got it than your average home
owner will use it in 30 years and it has more than exceeded my expectations. I
have two shops, under the same roof. I do big machinery repair and I build race
cars. So Fabrication is my bread and butter. All of my machines have always been
lincoln (I'm not a snob, miller is just as good) but it's what I've always
purchased. I bought this and the plasma yes welder cut 155ds roughly at the same
time. (I'm about to leave a review on that as well) and I havebto admit, I've
used them beyond what you would think they would withstand and they both still
perform flawlessly. It's even gotten to the point I turn this welder on instead
of my 255 lincoln and I grab the 55ds plasma cutter over my hyper therm. I have
probably recommended these to over 25 customers who were looking. I am NOT A
paid sponsor and paid for these out of my own pocket BTW. If you are a diy and
looking, if I recommend it, it's because of my experience with them. I used the
green machines, can't say the name due to a review but you would think they
would Everlast due to there name but they didn't hold up at all. Yes Welder has!

This is my first welding machine after wanting to get into welding for the
longest time. I love that it can do all variations of welding since I’ve wanted
to try both stick and flux core welding. I’m taking an online course where they
recommended at least 200 and without having to spend 2 grand plus, I gave this
machine a try. I only have experience with this machine but the whole assembly
and usage is very straight forward and I’ve enjoyed my experience building some
fun projects. I haven’t done anything structural but I did do a bunch of hammer
and jumping on my weld tests and they held up perfectly. I let my friend who is
supposedly a great welder use it but he returned it with the clamp and contact
tip holder burnt and broken to pieces. I didn’t have high hopes and was
expecting to have to purchase replacement parts and everything but after talking
to customer service they were able to cover the parts under warranty and it was
a very smooth and simple process with a very friendly rep (Ana) I can’t wait to
continue building and using the machine.

Id like to start by saying i AM NOT a professional welder by any means. With
that said the photo above is about 1 hour of welding time. Assuming this will be
mint for small things around the house or even repairing a muffler. Youtube is
your friend. Im satisfied for 170$
