QUANTITATIVE DEVELOPMENT

AlphaLab Capital is a leading provider of technology for quantitative trading.
Each day, our infrastructure and algorithms enable traders to supply billions of
dollars of liquidity to major exchanges around the globe. Our name derives from
the term "alpha" which in finance means "excess returns beyond what is
expected". It is a measure of an institution or individual's ability to
outperform. Our mission is to deliver alpha to all our stakeholders.

By crafting algorithms with high sharpe ratios and low volatility, we deliver
consistent financial alpha. By enabling liquidity in niche & emerging asset
classes, we improve market efficiency and ease the flow of capital for people
worldwide. By constantly innovating our management practices, we cultivate a

John and Michal created AlphaLab with no outside investment, allowing them the
freedom to create a company based on their values and build a smart and talented

JOHN GU


> FOUNDER & CEO

With 15 years of experience in quantitative trading at firms like Tower Research
Capital, Citadel, and AlphaSimplex, John has led teams that have consistently
achieved double digit sharpe ratios and triple digital annual gross returns. He
holds a Master's in Computer Science and dual Bachelor's degrees from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).




MICHAL KRASNODEBSKI


> CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Michal brings 15 years of experience as an operations and product executive.
Previously he served as General Manager of Shutterstock (SSTK)'s largest
subsidiary, where he led a team of 30+ to more than 20% annual growth. He holds
dual Bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Engineering from Wharton and the
University of Pennsylvania.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

This is a rare opportunity to be creative and design, build and grow a unique
platform in new markets. Iterate on our real time trading infrastructure and
automated trading systems. Our nimble nature means flexibility in what you work
on: you might be diagnosing infrastructure issues one day and deploying a new
strategy the next.





QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH

Does data drive you? As a quant you will delve into data, develop models, manage
risk, and create new growth opportunities for the business. We deploy new
strategies everyday, so good ideas can come from anyone and anywhere. It is
critical that you are able to quickly translate new ideas into solid
implementations.
