ARTS STRENGTHENING PROGRAM


The Arts Strengthening Program supports B.C. First Nations arts rebitalizations
opportunities for one-on-one arts mentorships pr arts group knowledge transfer.


BRAIDED KNOWLEDGE PROGRAM


This grant offers funding to B.C. First Nations communities and organizations
for projects that weave together arts, languages, and heritage and that include
a mentorship and apprenticeship component.


FPCC SUMMER LEARNING SERIES

HERITAGE INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAM


This program offers funding to B.C. First Nations communities and organizations,
and First Nations-led museums and cultural spaces in B.C. The goal of this
program is to support projects that conserve, repair or develop Indigenous
heritage infrastructure.


HERITAGE STEWARDSHIP PROGRAM


This program provides funding to B.C. First Nations communities and
organizations in four priority areas and supports projects with a strong focus
on mentorship, education, training and/or intergenerational learning and
knowledge transfer.


INDIVIDUAL ARTISTS PROGRAM


The Individual Artists program supports artistic development of B.C. First

LANGUAGE PROGRAMS – EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

LANGUAGE REVITALIZATION PLANNING PROGRAM


The Language Revitalization Planning Program supports First Nations communities
in B.C. to develop comprehensive, long-term plans for revitalizing and
strengthening their languages.


LANGUAGE STATUS ASSESSMENT


The Language Status Assessment (LSA) is a survey for First Nations communities
to track the progress of their language activities.


LANGUAGE TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM


The Language Technology Program provides funding plus equipment and training to
support language revitalization using technology.


MENTOR-APPRENTICE PROGRAM


The Mentor-Apprentice Program (MAP) is a one-on-one language immersion program
that helps people to become fluent speakers by bringing their language into
their daily lives at home and on the land.


PATHWAYS TO LANGUAGE VITALITY PROGRAM


The Pathways to Language Vitality (Pathways) Program provides funding and
support for community-led projects that revitalize First Nations languages in
B.C. and help create fluent speakers.


RECLAIMING MY LANGUAGE PROGRAM


Reclaiming My Language is a course to assist silent speakers to reclaim their
language.

YOUTH EMPOWERED SPEAKERS PROGRAM


The YES program is for B.C. First Nations youth ages 18-35 years old living on
or off-reserve. Participants must be studying Early Childhood Education,
pursuing a Bachelor of Education degree or pursuing a degree/program that is
linked to a career in language revitalization.
