PRIOR TO COMING INTO REAL ESTATE, I WORKED FOR THE MIDDLESEX SHERIFF'S OFFICE
FOR 32 YEARS. I HELD A FEW DIFFERENT POSITIONS THERE, INCLUDING THE LAST TEN
YEARS AS A CLASSIFICATION OFFICER. IN THIS ROLE, I WAS THE CHAIRPERSON OF A
CLASSIFICATION BOARD, WHICH HELD HEARINGS TO DETERMINE THE SECURITY LEVEL
PLACEMENT AND REQUIRED TREATMENT AND PROGRAMMING THAT WE WOULD ASSIGN TO THE
INMATES WHO CAME BEFORE US. THIS JOB, DONE RIGHT, ALLOWED ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO
HELP THE OFFENDER CONQUER SOME BAD BEHAVIOR, REDUCE RECIDIVISM, AND THEREBY
ENHANCE PUBLIC SAFETY.
