Providing to social causes has always been at the heart of the Bennet and
Bernard Group. Supporting various social causes over the years has resulted in
it now gradually been etched into the walls of this company. And; as it is
always with the flow of positive vibes, such is also the case here.

 

It is but obvious and apparent that the ways of giving would have rubbed off
within the teams and a general thoughtful outlook flows down and is inculcated
into the minds and the ways of the Group as a whole.

The Corporate Social Responsibility further extends by supporting the less
privileged, street pet care, cleanliness drives, support for a school for
underprivileged autistic or differently abled children, made blankets for the
less privileged, provided sewing machines to women to make them financially
independent, clothes donations, blood donation camps, sports day with
special-abled children, kindness drives to name a few.

More than anything Bennet and Bernard’s belief stems from investing time and
effort towards the causes engaged herein.

ROONEY MARLEE ANIMAL WELFARE

Rooney Marlee Animal Welfare Trust (RMAWT) is the social vertical of the Bennet
and Bernard Group, under which all sort of social causes are driven. Giving back
to the society is an ethos of the company over the years, and the commitment to
be the benchmark in every endeavour, pans this vertical too. In our biggest
social effort, RMAWT and Goa Animal Welfare Trust (GAWT) are collaborated,
combining their support to GAWT for the existing work of animal care. 



The mission as an organization is to maintain a peaceful, nurturing, loving, and
compassionate sanctuary for aged, unwell, abandoned, injured, and lonely
animals. The organization is sincerely dedicated to rescue, rehabilitate, and
rehome the stray, injured and abandoned animals. The objective is to make the
lives of street pets in Goa more humane and cared for. This is executed firstly
by reducing the street population through active ABCs (Animal Birth Control)
drives, and street pet rescues and care, adoption camps, anti-rabies camps, etc.
The association of these two Trusts enables a wide coverage and efforts in South
Goa.
