BUISSNESS, AND NOTHING ELSE.

For Model United Nations conferences, delegates are typically required to dress
in formal business attire. This includes:

- Men: A suit and tie, dress shirt, and dress shoes.

- Women:** A suit (pantsuit or skirt suit) or a professional dress, paired with
closed-toe shoes.

POINTS
MOTIONS

AND

WHAT ARE THEY?

In Model United Nations, points and motions are formal requests made by
delegates to manage the flow of debate. **Points** are used to raise specific
issues or ask for clarification, such as a Point of Order or Point of
Information. **Motions** are proposals for procedural changes, like a Motion to
Suspend the Meeting or a Motion for a Roll Call Vote, and they help guide how
discussions and decision-making are conducted.
