With a renewed focus on inclusivity, sustainability, and diplomacy, we are eager to witness the creativity and leadership of tomorrow’s change-makers. secretariat OUR SECRETARIAT SABRINA BOCCARDO SECRETARY GENERAL Sabrina is an 11th grade student who has participated in SPMUN since 7th grade with an outstanding performace. Last year she took on the role of Under-Secretary General and this year we are proud to have her serve as out secretary general MAGIE SRUR UNDER-SECRETARY GENERAL Magie is a 10th grader with a remarkable resume. She has participated in all SPMUN´s since 7th grade. She has attended the global MUN twice and this year we are proud to have her as our Under-Secretary General. SANTIAGO ALVARADO UNDER-SECRETARY GENERAL Since his school days, debating has always captured his attention. When he discovered in high school that there was not only a platform for it but also something as well-organized and complex as SPMUN, he made it his goal not just to participate but to contribute to making it the best it could be. Since then, he has participated in every high school MUN he could, learning from each experience to improve this year’s MUN. He is thrilled to be part of this year's SPMUN and hopes it exceeds all expectations! DRESS CODE BUISSNESS, AND NOTHING ELSE. For Model United Nations conferences, delegates are typically required to dress in formal business attire. This includes: - Men: A suit and tie, dress shirt, and dress shoes. - Women:** A suit (pantsuit or skirt suit) or a professional dress, paired with closed-toe shoes. In Model United Nations, points and motions are formal requests made by delegates to manage the flow of debate. **Points** are used to raise specific issues or ask for clarification, such as a Point of Order or Point of Information. **Motions** are proposals for procedural changes, like a Motion to Suspend the Meeting or a Motion for a Roll Call Vote, and they help guide how discussions and decision-making are conducted.
