WORSHIP TIMES

SUNDAY WORSHIP

Worship is 9 am every Sunday and children are very welcome. Every Sunday
different members of our congregation lead the Worship service.

CITY INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN CHURCH SERVICE WILL START AT 11 AM.

COMMUNION

On the first Sunday of the month we gather together for Communion which is the
focus for the Sunday Worship.

COMMUNITY

Our worship seeks to be a creative, vibrant experience, for all ages, and for a
variety of religious backgrounds – you may find Port Adelaide a little different
from other churches


WEDDINGS

  For over 150 years, our heritage building, formerly a Congregational Church
has been  a place of worship and has hosted many weddings. The building was
restored in the 1980’s. …





SENIORS

The Port Adelaide Uniting Church is made up of people of all ages. The Afternoon
Fellowship women’s group meet once a month. The Pot Pouri Club meets in the

History


HISTORY

The life of the church congregation began in November 1849, when a group of
Christians from various denominations who had been meeting, informally, in a
sail loft in the Port formed themselves into the ‘Congregational Church of Port
Adelaide’.

The Uniting Church offers baptism both to those who wish to affirm their faith
and Gods love, and to families wishing to have their children baptised.
