THREE-PEAT LAUNCHES $3 MILLION MATCHING GIFT CHALLENGE FOR LOVE’S FIELD
In honor of the Oklahoma Sooners clinching their third consecutive national
softball title, every donation to the challenge will be matched dollar for
dollar up to $3 million as part of fundraising for the facility that is slated
to open in 2024.
OU CLASS OF 2023 GIFT SUPPORTS THREE CAMPUS CAUSES
The class raised more than $11,000, surpassing its initial goal of $10,000, for
the OU Food Pantry, Relay for Life and Miracle Mindset.
OU GIVING DAY 2023 SETS NEW UNIVERSITY FUNDRAISING RECORD
Donations poured in from all 50 states, totaling $22,647,864 from 5,035 gifts.

The Farzaneh Family Foundation has illuminated a path for cutting-edge
ophthalmology at the University of Oklahoma with a generous $2 million
endowment. This significant gift will inaugurate the Farzaneh Family Endowed
Chair in Ophthalmology, with the Dean McGee Eye Institute Foundation adding its
support with a $750,000 contribution. These funds will help attract top-tier
medical talents and propel forward-thinking research.
Moreover, the Farzaneh family's additional $250,000 donation, matched by the
Stanton L. Young Foundation and the University Hospitals Authority and Trust,
will provide resources for future chairholders to innovate in labs and inspire
teams. Another $250,000 is earmarked for state-of-the-art lab equipment,
reflecting the Farzanehs' enduring commitment to transforming eye care in
Oklahoma. Philanthropic giving like the Farzanehs continue to strengthen OU
resources and shape the future of healthcare.
