NOURISHING THOSE IN NEED WELCOMES YOU How We Got Our Start While walking around downtown Chicago, I realized how many people needed help on a day-to-day basis. I witnessed people searching for food in undesirable places. There are at least 65,000 people experiencing homelessness in the Chicago area. I knew that I could not help everyone, but I decided to start making a difference in the world. Nourishing Those in Need fills drawstring bags with essential items. The bags often include, but are not limited to non-perishable food, blankets, deodorant, toothpaste and socks. While driving or walking around, I hand the bags out to the people that need the help. The goal is to provide more items to as many people as possible. The company is looking forward to nourishing those in need. Nourishing Those in Need, Inc. is a tax-exempt non-profit organization.
