NuNet Foundation will organize and build a decentralized governance structure,
to ensure the development and use of the network is sustainable, democratic and
beneficial for all. Minor technical decisions – depending on the case – will be
made by the Foundation, partners or the pool of owners of network operations
agents. The Foundation will own the initial set of network operations agents, so
this distinction may be refined during the network’s first years of operation.
The Foundation and partners will also elect a Technical Council which may
include representatives of owners of network operations agents, community
members and users. Critical decisions will involve direct community and token
holder polls. The community of token holders will have the right to organize a
Supervisory Council for the advice and representation in the Foundation’s
decisions.

SECURE NETWORKING VIA NUNET ADAPTERS

NuNet adapters enable each NuNet-enabled hardware device to communicate with the
rest of the network. Adapters provide secure networking between private hardware
devices and computing processes (e.g. SingularityNET AI Services), allow for
computational resource owners to be directly paid by their customers, and for
individual users with computational needs to communicate and pay tokens directly
to other members of the network.

NuNet overlays the computational network with a payments network that enables
collaboration between owners of computing resources, decentralized computing
platforms and marketplaces. Computing processes communicate only via adapters,
providing heightened security and privacy guarantees to each constituent.

Dagim Sisay is a Software and Hardware Engineer based in Addis Ababa Ethiopia.
Most notably, he has worked on OpenCog for Embedded Systems enabling the
platform to run on ARM based devices for Toy robots (in collaboration with
Hanson Robotics) and network infrastructure devices (in collaboration with
Cisco) and he also led the reprogramming of the Philip K. Dick life-sized robot
in late 2019 at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, USA in collaboration
with Hanson Robotics and SingularityNet.



YITBAREK YOHANNES





Yitbarek Yohannes holds BSc in Electrical and computer engineering (Computer
Focus) (2019). He is a full-time programmer at ICog-labs and, prior to NuNet has
notably worked on Opencog (atomspace), virtual assistant (pattern macthing),
nunet (backend, blockchain) and song-splitter app (android studio) projects. His
interest mainly focuses on blockchain.



ISRAEL ABEBE





Israel is a Machine Learning Engineer with an MSc in Machine Intelligence from
AIMS-AMMI and BSc degree in Software Engineering from Addis Ababa University. He
has more than four years of machine learning industry experience developing
several machine learning models and services. His research interest includes
Multi-modal Learning and the real-world application of deep learning.



TEWODROS KEDERALAH





Tewodros Kederalah is a full-time programmer at iCog-Labs. He holds a degree in
Electrical and Computer Engineering from Addis Ababa University. His main
interests are in Machine Learning, Blockchain, and IoT.

Ibby Benali holds a degree in Digital Business Studies and Liberal Arts and
Sciences. She is the Tech Marketing Manager and Data Protection Officer at
SingularityNET and as a true polymath she has experience leading a team of
content creators, designers, developers, marketers, and technologists to
decentralize artificial intelligence and to democratize the access to AI
technology. She was named as one of the women at the forefront of changing the
gender ratio in the tech industry by Fast Company. Ibby always finds herself in

Marcello Mari is the CEO of SingularityDAO and Director of Comms at
SingularityNET. He was part of the founding team of SingularityNET in 2017. He
was a contributor to TechCrunch, Wired and The Guardian, following a career in
marketing and PR across a number of tech startups in London. He holds a BA in
Political Science and an MA in Political Communication by University of Bologna.
Twice a TEDx speaker, he is often invited to speak at world’s leading tech
conferences.



MARIO ALBERTO CASIRAGHI





Mario is CFO of SingularityNET and SingularityDAO, bringing a wealth of
knowledge from his experience in traditional finance and DeFi. Prior to
SingularityNET he was co-founder and head of blockchain entertainment company
Xfinite, for which he raised over $25 million via STO. He started his blockchain
journey as founder of DandYlion, a leading blockchain community focusing on tech
and financial education, and a partner at Blockchain Solution Partners, an
advisory boutique providing turnkey blockchain expertise to established
companies. Mario has been involved in crypto strategy, structuring, OTC
transactions and capital raising for a number of high profile transactions.
Prior to working in blockchain, Mario spent six years in financial markets
working at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and RBS as a specialist in Debt Capital
Markets, where he completed more than 50 transactions and around €80 billion in
financing. Mario holds an economics and finance degree from Bocconi and Master’s
in Management from the ESCP Europe Business School.

Dr. Kabir Veitas holds a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies (2019), masters
degrees in AI (2009), international business management (2007) and a degree in
business administration (1997). He has a multi-year experience in strategic
business consulting, multi-stakeholder negotiations and project management,
socio-economic cost-benefit analysis, policy design as well as held executive
positions in the past. His later career focuses on decentralized computing
system’s research and development, social integration of AI, IoT and distributed
ledger technologies, artificial general intelligence research and technology
policy design, based on long standing interest and research of philosophy of
mind, cognitive science, complex systems and future studies of human
socio-technological systems.



DR. BEN GOERTZEL





Dr. Ben Goertzel is the CEO of the decentralized AI network SingularityNET, and
the Chief Scientist of Hanson Robotics, chairman of AGI Society, OpenCog
Foundation, Decentralized AI Alliance and futurist nonprofit Humanity+. He is
one of the world’s foremost experts in Artificial General Intelligence aimed at
creating thinking machines with general cognitive capability at the human level
and beyond. Dr. Goertzel has decades of expertise applying AI to practical
problems in areas ranging from natural language processing and data mining to
robotics, video gaming, national security and bioinformatics. He has published
20 scientific books and 140+ scientific research papers, and is the main
architect and designer of the OpenCog system and associated design for
human-level general intelligence. Dr. Goertzel is the founding member of the
Global Brain Group, established in 1996 for researching collective intelligence
arising from the interconnection of humans, computers and AI systems.



DR. DAVID WEINBAUM (WEAVER)





Dr. David Weinbaum (Weaver) holds a PhD in Philosophy and Sciences from Vrije
Universiteit Brussel (2018) and M.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from Tel Aviv
University (1989) with experience in computer engineering, parallel algorithms,
symbolic computing, software and hardware design, and R&D management. His work
and research aim at developing models of self-organized distributed cognition,
distributed thought processes and distributed social governance towards the
emergence of a Global Brain. His major research interests are: cognitive
