Kylin Network is the native Polkadot Data Blockchain to accelerate the world’s
transition to DeData within a Web3.0 context by Building a Cross-chain Platform
Powering the Data Economy. It is the Data Infrastructure for DeFi and Web 3.0
Powered by Polkadot.

Polkadot Layer-1 Blockchain
At its most general level, Kylin Network is a data blockchain that helps to
provide assurances of truth and factuality. Kylin Network is the connective
tissue between the ‘real world’ and the blockchain, or Web3 world, providing
insights and informing each in synergy. Kylin Network will be an integral piece
of the infrastructure of a DeData world.
Decentralized Data Economy
Kylin Network is a conduit for developers, consumers, and enterprises alike to
take part in the new decentralized data (DeData) economy that is currently
forming. A DeData world means a P2P orientation to the operationalization and
monetization of data in various ways that are up to the imagination of the
ecosystem participants.
Parachain & Substrate Compatibility
Kylin is an independent Layer 1 solution on the Layer 0 Relay Chain of Polkadot.
This allows Kylin to take part in the shared security and consensus of the
entirety of the Polkadot Network. The core smart contracts are designed and
built based on the Substrate framework.

Parachain Slot Auction

Polkadot is a decentralized, multi-chain network that allows blockchains to
connect for interoperability, scalability, and plug-and-play network security.
To join Polkadot’s network, all parachains must participate in and win an
auction to earn a slot on the network. Parachains can choose to raise DOT in a
variety of ways in order to participate in the auction.

Kylin Crowdloan Offering

Crowdloans are a way for projects to fundraise for a parachain slot on the
Polkadot network. An individual can temporarily lock their DOT in exchange for a
reward from the project team, often in the form of the project’s native tokens.
The contributed DOT are used to help parachain projects launch to the network,
and are returned to the crowdloan participant once it ends.

Kylin (KYL) Distribution

When Kylin wins a parachain slot auction, the network will begin to launch on
Polkadot and Kylin will distribute KYL to crowdloan contributors.

Total Rewards

15% of total supply as Kylin Network crowdloan Reward to all DOT contributors.

Liquid

30% rewards will be distributed when parachain launches.


Early Bird Reward

1% will be an early bird reward to the first 10% DOT contributors.

Vesting

The remainin 70% rewards will be distributed by block.

Tokenomics
Staking

All miners are required to stake KYL with a higher stake equating in a high
probability of being selected to fulfill data requests.

Governance

KYL token holders are able to vote for the protocol upgrades and parameter
changes on Kylin.

Utility

KYL tokens will be used to pay as a transaction, query fee, and also for data
access behind paywall (private APIs).
