MATT PUCHALSKI



HI, I’M MATT. I’M A PITTSBURGH BASED ROBOTICIST AND GARDENER. I’M INTERESTED IN
PUSHING THE FUTURE OF HUMAN-FACING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SYSTEMS.

I worked on self-driving cars for years at Argo AI, and plan on working on
future robotics projects for years to come.




OPENRPG-BOT




My most recent independent project is a publicly available framework for
interacting with OpenAI’s GPT-3, a Natural Langue based Machine Learning system!

With OpenRPG-bot, your gaming sessions are open to your imagination, and you’re
free to unleash your creativity.

Because it’s a Discord bot, this history of your conversation stays with you —
no waiting on ChatGPT, no hoping the sever history loads. The inverse is also
true — you’re a DM hoping to generate some quick NPC text? Spin up a channel or
thread and delete once you’re done!

I have the privilege of having the fastest patent application to approval in
Argo AI history. In working with some of the brightest minds on the planet, we
pushed the frontier of the autonomous driving space.

My patent portfolio stretches across the autonomous vehicle space combining such
innovations as blockchain technology, process automation, onboard Machine
Learning techniques, and system-level test design.

The projects I’ve worked on yielded nearly a dozen patent applications. These
applications are still under review with the USPTO and depending on the age of
the application are available for public review.

I’VE ALWAYS HAD A PASSION FOR ROBOTS, AND THROUGH MY COLLEGE AND PROFESSIONAL
CAREER I’VE BEEN ABLE TO PUT THAT PASSION INTO CHANGING THE WORLD. MY INTERNSHIP
AND CO-OP EXPERIENCE TAUGHT ME THE VALUE OF WORKING AT LARGE CORPORATIONS AND
HOW IMPACTFUL AUTOMATION CAN BE. WHILE AT ARGO AI, I WAS ABLE TO LIVE MY DREAM
OF BUILDING AND DEPLOYING LEVEL 4 AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES ACROSS THE UNITED STATES
AND GERMANY. THROUGH THAT, I LEARNED MANY HARD LESSONS IN FIXING AND MAINTAINING
MULTIPLE FLEETS OF ROBOTS ACROSS MULTIPLE TIMEZONES.

I’M EXCITED TO CONTINUE BUILDING THE FUTURE OF ROBOTS DEPLOYED IN THE FIELD AT
SCALE, AND TO MEET PEOPLE WHO MAKE BUILDING THAT FUTURE POSSIBLE.
