Junior Stars Afterschool Program (JSAP) at Arrowhead Elementary (AES) is a free
out-of-school time Youth Now! program funded through the Maryland State
Department of Education (MSDE) American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary
School Emergency Relief (ARP ESSER) grant program.

Our program meets the need to address gaps in learning that developed during the
COVID-19 pandemic for students enrolled at Arrowhead Elementary and students
enrolled in neighboring schools–both public and private. The JSAP@AES program
places special emphasis on math & reading and also incorporates robotics and
coding, and STEAM education.

We welcome you to our community and look forward to your engagement and
participation in creating a safe, supportive, and impactful experience for our
students!
