How can we leverage technology, AI, and collaborative platforms to push the boundaries of interactive storytelling, artistic expression, and immersive experiences? INCLUSIVE INNOVATION - 2ND GENERATION AIRPODS PRO With the growing and ever-evolving landscape of technology, it is essential as creators and innovators to embrace our responsibility to address the challenge of upholding fairness, inclusivity, and basic human rights. As developers, we have the unique opportunity to utilize technology to bring people together and empower those who might not be as fortunate. The world is a big place with a diverse group of people from all walks of life—think of how you can utilize technology to create a more culturally-connected, accessible, and healthier society and foster a more inclusive and/or equitable society. Winners will receive MLH Winner Pins. SIDE TRACK - TECH SOLUTIONS TO CLIMATE CHANGE IN BOSTON - BU SPARK! BU Spark! is sponsoring a prize for a technical solution to challenges related to climate change that the City of Boston is facing. The project must address one or more of the following issues: - Mitigating extreme heat/cold effects - Promoting climate justice - Addressing sea level rise - Flood prevention and management - Zero emissions Prize and Criteria: - Prizes are for teams with at least 3 BU students - $500 prize (five $100 amazon gift cards) Hackathon submissions will be judged based on the following criteria: Relevance: addresses one of the topics listed above and reflects an understanding of the issue as it relates to the City of Boston especially from a climate justice perspective. Utility/ Impact: offers a real solution that would help the city prepare for the impacts of climate change and is clear about how impact would be measured.
