The On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) program allows organizations to conduct
interviews virtually or in-person with students from all majors during the fall
and spring semesters for full-time salaried and paid internship opportunities.
The OCR program assists with managing your interview schedules within connectSC,
by collecting resumes of qualified candidates and utilizing the time scheduling
feature to set up your interviews. This program is complimentary for employers.

To request a virtual or in-person interview schedule, log into connectSC and
click on the OCR tab, or email the Employer Engagement team.


OCR SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS

If you do not have a connectSC account, click the “SIGN UP” button.

 * Once your connectSC profile is completed and the account approved, you can
   submit an interview schedule via the OCR tab to conduct virtual or in-person
   interviews.
 * Click on “OCR” → “Schedules” → “Request a Schedule.”
 * Learn how to set up On-Campus Recruiting through connectSC.

If recruiting MBA students only, contact the Marshall Graduate Career Services
Center.

If recruiting Engineering students only, contact Viterbi Career Connections.


COFFEE CHATS

Coffee Chats allow you to provide information about your organization and
openings currently available to students in a more casual, one-on-one setting. 
These meetings range from 20 – 30 minutes. Since we want you to meet the desired
student demographic, we need to know the preferred qualifications (degree,
major, class year and visa sponsorship) ahead of time, allowing us to send a
special invitation email to students with information on how to sign up. The
coffee chats/office hours student signups are on a first-come, first-serve
basis.

Once the interviews and coffee chats are scheduled through connectSC, you can
conduct the sessions virtually, using whichever video platform available to you,
or in-person. 

To request a Coffee Chat:

 * Click on “OCR” → “Schedules” → “Request a Schedule” → “Open” 
 * Attach a job description of what you will be discussing in your chats.
 * Include your preferred qualifications.

be notified in writing, including salary, location, benefits, and starting date.


NO GREETER POLICY

Due to space limitations and to ensure that all students and employers have a
successful recruiting experience, we have a no greeter policy.


EMPLOYER BROCHURES AND RECRUITING MATERIALS

The Career Center requests that employers do not send brochures and materials
for display. We encourage organizations to link to their website through
their connectSC listings.

HOW TO RECRUIT USC INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

USC is home to over 11,000 talented and motivated international students from
countries across the globe. These students bring a unique blend of education and
experience to contribute to the ever-increasing importance of global competency
and diversity in the workplace. For organizations that are interested in hiring
international students for full-time or internship positions in the U.S., visit
the Office of International Services (OIS) to learn more about the process for
hiring international students during their studies and after graduation. For

International Organizations Recruiting USC Students

International organizations interested in coming to the USC campus for
recruiting events must apply for a B-1 Visa and adhere to all guidelines set by
the U.S. Department of State. For more information on rules and regulations
regarding B-1 travel visas, refer to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration
Service B-1 Temporary Business Visitor’s page. Contact the Employer Engagement
team for any additional questions.
