Mission



Gateways is a Dubai based company that supports Paint, Coating, Equipment and
Building material manufacturers to expand in the EMEAI region by providing a
scalable range of services in the field of Management Consultancy and Commercial
Partnership. Gateways operates in three main business areas: Oil & Gas,
Construction and Marine.

Gateways Team is leveraged on an extensive knowledge of the regions' cultural
and business dynamics, and on a wide network of business partners and clients
allowing a fast access to target markets whilst mitigating the risks of entering
new geographies.

ANDREA MECONCELLI

Managing Partner

Andrea has 25 years of General, Regional and Global B2B Management experience
with leading chemical coatings, equipment and construction multinational
companies such as AkzoNobel, Jotun e ITW. He has worked and lived in six
countries within the EMEA region and he has served as Board Member in Europe,
Middle East and Asia. Andrea holds a Master degree in Business and Economics
from the University of Bergamo, an MBA from the University of Wales and he is a
graduate in Finance and M&A from Columbia Business School in New York. Andrea is
passionate about helping companies shaping their business strategies and making
organizations more effective by reducing complexity and boosting sales
performance. Andrea is based in Dubai and Milan.

ALI EMAM

Associate Partner Middle East and North Africa

Ali has over 19 years of experience in Sales, Marketing and General Management
roles working across Corporate within the Middle East and Africa. He has worked
in AkzoNobel, Jotun Paints, Egyptian Rubber Co, and Magdeem Contracting.
Ali holds an MBA from American University in Cairo - Egypt, and comes from an
Engineering Background (Ain Shams University – Egypt). His key expertise lies in
Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Specialized Infrastructure projects,
and Key Account Management. Based in Cairo, he is the co-founder of Magdeem
Contracting, a specialized works Egyptian contracting company.

MOHAMED ELMETWALLY

Associate Partner Saudi Arabia

Mohamed has 20 years of Experience in Sales, Marketing and General Management
working across corporate in the Middle East and Africa. He worked in Jotun and
AkzoNobel, and he has a Metallurgical Engineering background (Assuit University,
Egypt).
His Key Expertise lies in Sales, Marketing and business development specialised
in O&G projects. Based in Saudi, where he operates as Commercial head of one
major contracting and trading company, he will be responsible for Gateways
activity in Saudi Arabia

Gateways DWC-LLC is headquartered in Dubai South, a fully integrated global
trade, business and logistical hub connecting Jebel Ali Port to Al Maktoum
International Airport - the largest airport in the world when complete.
Dubai South is the official home of Expo 2020.

BRANCH OFFICES

Gateways have branch offices in Milan, Cairo and Dammam serving their local
