Chase Hagood, Ph.D., for empowering individuals with access to higher education. 2. AI-POWERED CHATBOTS: FUNCTIONAL 4-YEAR DEGREE PLANS Over the past year, the Academic Innovation + Intelligence Lab has developed, trained, and piloted a set of AI-enabled chatbots to support students as they navigate their paths through the University. 3. DR. LAUREN AIMONETTE LIANG APPOINTED AS DIRECTOR OF QUEST PROGRAM We are pleased to announce that Dr. Lauren Aimonette Liang has joined the Office of Undergraduate Studies (US) as the director of the new QUEST program. Dr. Liang, an associate professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Utah, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to this role. 4. FULL STEAM AHEAD FOR SCIENCE & ARTS EDUCATION IN PARTNERSHIP WITH MT. VIEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL On March 28, the University of Utah’s Education Pathways program based at the Glendale-Mountain View Community Learning Center proudly supported the successful launch of Mountain View Elementary School's inaugural STEAM Fair night. The aim of this event was to introduce math, science, technology, arts and engineering concepts to students while igniting and reinforcing their curiosity and passion for learning.
