reporting to the Defense Human Resources Activity (DHRA) under the Director,
DHRA. This video provides a brief overview of the purpose, reach, and effect of
the ADL Initiative on the DoD community and beyond.


2022 DADLAC ANNUAL REPORT

Check out the Defense ADL Advisory Committee (DADLAC) 2022 Annual Report. This
report highlights the distributed learning community’s activities in 2022, along
with important policies and plans to build the future learning ecosystem.


GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP NETWORK MEETING IN 2022

The ADL Global Partnership Network continues to foster international
relationships and facilitate ongoing collaboration by hosting its in-person
Annual Directors’ Meeting on November 27, 2022, in Orlando, Florida. Learn more

ADL ANNOUNCES NEW DIRECTOR

The ADL Initiative welcomes Dr. Laura Milham as Director of the program. Dr.
Milham is a DoD civilian and an applied human-systems scientist, focusing on
individual and team training and assessment. Please join us in welcoming her to
the community!


TLA PLUGFEST GRADUATES 2022

The ADL Initiative organized a “PlugFest” event on 22-23 June that brought
together DoD decision makers, information technology (IT) managers, and
distributed learning application vendors to learn more about the TLA. Click to

TOTAL LEARNING ARCHITECTURE “HOW-TO” GUIDE

Ready for an interoperable data architecture for your e-learning systems? This
guide shows how to connect learning technologies to the TLA Reference
Implementation, or establish your own sandbox to integrate and test against TLA
data interoperability standards.
